Most horrible accomodation experience we ever had. There were small worms on the bed, between the linen and even under our pillows. There were bats in the grass roof and the whole unit smelled bad even the towels due to bat urine. Bed side lamps didn't work. Sofa was dirty and full of stains. Linen had stains on them and was torn. Cockroach ran over my son while sleeping. We packed up right there at 20:00 and left disgusted en dissapionted. Photos on website doesn't compare to the real thing this is frauding people.

The lodge is ideally located, not far from Komatipoort, its shops and restaurants. next to the Kruger Park's entrance and along the Crocodile River. Its chalets are spread along the river where all animals come and go. We saw and heard many of them and witnessed fantastic sunsets from our terrace. We stayed in the unit called Imvubu, which was perfectly furnished, neat and comfortable. It offered an additional bed and lounge on the terrace that enabled us to experience the Kruger nightlife from a protected shelter. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this unique retreat!

Stayed at Elephant Walk Retreat in March 22 and we were wowed from the moment we arrived. Fantastic location right at the entrance to Kruger, you can´t get any closer! Amazing views of the river where we were lucky enough to have 2 visiting elephants just as we arrived. There is a beautiful swimming pool for you to relax in after a long day in Kruger or even spend the day beside if you fancy having a relaxing day out of the park. Great self catering facilities just a short drive from town where you can stock up on supplies or eat in one of the local restaurants. If you want good priced accommodation with excellent facilities very close to Kruger this should be your no1 choice! Thank you for a great stay and hope to come back again soon!

We love how the retreat was along the river and right next to crocodile bridge gate. Our cabin was elevated to view wildlife along river

Meals on the private deck, punctuated by hippo grunts and good elephant sightings - we had a great time! Lionet, the manager was very helpful and took our suggestions/criticisms with good spirit - they got working on some items immediately.

Beautiful views of the Crocodile river and convenient location to the Crocodile Bridge gate. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, beds very comfortable. Great swimming pool. Kitchen a little small and located out of air-conditioned area but manageable. Family owned and operated with great service. Highly recommended!

The location is great, right next to Kruger and we were lucky to have hippos cavorting in the river right opposite.
The lighting in the rooms could be brighter and the shower temperature was difficult to control.

Nous avons réservé un chalet pour notre fille de 2 ans, ma compagne et moi-même.
Le chalet n’était pas propre du tout ! Des traces sur les draps, des excréments d’animaux frais et sécher, des traces de savons sécher…
Seul l’emplacement avec les éléphants a proximités de la clôture et distance de crocodile bridge sont les points positif.
Aucun accès au Wifi a moins de rester debout a l’extérieur près de la réception.
De plus le gérant nous a demandé d’éteindre la Clim pour ne pas qu’il y est de coupure d’electricité.
