Ninh Binh Hidden Charm Hotel & Resort

Ninh Thang|1.54km from Thai Vi Temple
The interior is beautiful. The ceiling is a bit low, so the lobby can feel a bit crowded. It looks like it's 4.5 star. It seems a difficult problem to maintain. Cleaning seems to require re-education. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is reasonable. There are not many kinds and expensive foods, but it was delicious and fresh. The pool is small but the facilities are not bad. However, it was a pity that there was no shower guide before the customer arrived. The gym facilities are not bad, but the cleaning is not very good. There are not many users, so it's usually like turning off the air conditioner and opening the door, but then the dust is sitting a little. I can see insects sometimes. The window is big, so if you just clean up the pool outside the window, the view is good. The mountain view was very pretty in the 7th floor room I stayed, the bed was fluffy, the sheets were clean, and there was a bathtub. The bathroom door is closed, and the bathtub window is Romanshade. Cleaning is also insufficient. I was a little sorry that there was no lounge on the second floor. It runs an outdoor bar, but it is not available on hot summer days. I didn't eat room service, but it was cheap and I had goat meat fried in the restaurant, and there were too many lemongrass for my taste, but it was foody and delicious. The interior is beautiful. The ceiling is a bit low so the lobby can be felt a bit crowded. It looks 4.5 star level hotel to me. It seems to have a difficulty in maintaining. Cleaning seems to require retraining. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is decent. There are not many kinds and there are not expensive ingredients, but they are delicious and fresh, so I liked that way more. Although the swimming pool is small, the facilities are not bad. However, it was a little disappointing that there were no shower instructions for customers before entering the pool. The gym facilities are not bad, but the cleanliness is also very poor. There aren't many users, so it seems like they usually turn off the air conditioner and open the door, but that's why there's a bit of dust sitting there. Insects are also occasionally seen. There is a large window, so if you tidy up the grass outside the window, the view will be good. The mountain view from the room I stayed on the 7th floor was very pretty, the bed was soft, the sheets were clean, and there was a bathtub. The bathroom door closes tightly, and the bathtub window has a Roman shade. The cleanliness is also poor. It was a little disappointing that there was no lounge on the 2nd floor. There is an outdoor bar, but it is difficult to sit outside on hot summer days. I haven't tried room service, but the price is really good. I tried the goat meat stir-fry at the restauran. The amount generous and tastes delicious even though there was too much lemongrass for my taste.

Trang An Ao dai Homestay

My partner and I immediately felt very at home and relaxed in this beautiful family’s home. The room was very comfortable with a nice modern bathroom. It’s far enough out of town for it to be quiet, yet close enough that it’s not too far to ride into town for dinner. We ended up spending a bit of time with the family too, sharing meals with them, and the owners father even shared some of his homemade rice wine. Would recommend this place to any couple travelling through Ninh Binh!
Momali Hotel Ninh Binh

The hotel is near the new town near the train and bus stations. Useful when going back and forth using either. It's not along the river, which is the highlight of Ninh Binh, so you can't see the scenery when you wake up in the morning. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, but I was surprised that the electricity, which had been fine at night, didn't turn on when I woke up in the morning. (I had it fixed while I was eating breakfast.) However, as is the case with Ninh Binh, the road is so wide that it's quite a long way to go. There was a nice cafe in a small residential area behind the bus stop.

We’ve booked a one-week trip with Mr Truong. It was just incredible and we highly recommend him. We’ve seen beautiful places up north where we could live local adventures away from tourist spots. He organized for us a French-speaking guide who was amazing. Truong is a very good driver, a flexible and smart person. He even found a solution for us to avoid the typhoon. We stayed three nights in his friendly home and everything was perfect (cleaned room, tasty meals and lovely atmosphere). Thank you again Mr Truong and family for making our trip unforgettable. Brand new property with clean and large rooms, location perfect between Tam Coc and Trang An. You can rent a bike from the hotel and you can go to city or sightseeing fairly easily. Tam Coc is very commercial I prefer Trang an riverside for quiet lunch. Breakfast is homemade and very delicious, staff is super nice and helpful. I stayed for 5 nights and covered most places in Ninh Binh. This is a hidden gem at a very reasonable price. Great value for money and also a quiet, relaxing stay.

The location was in local Marquette. I thought it was a good place to feel Vietnam. when we stayed, the road leading to the main street was under construction I felt inconvenient to walk. The father of the inn was friendly and helpful. The water drain and water pressure of the shower were good.

Had to spend a bit of time on arrival to find someone to check us in. The room provided was exactly what we asked for and well maintained and clean. Basically a good value for money hotel. There was a good range of eateries available within a couple of blocks and also lots of stalls selling fresh produce and the bonus of a bus station only 5 mins walk that took us back to Hanoi.
