C'Lau Hotel Ninh Binh

The hotel was pretty okay overall. The room was clean, the service was good, and the location was very convenient since it’s right in the center area. Easy to find restaurants, shops, and places around nearby. Amenities were decent, though not super special, but still comfortable enough for the stay.

We chose this hotel as it looked modern, clean and a good location if you want to be between the activities of Tam Coc and ancient city in Hoa Lu. It ticked all the boxes! The location was great. It is set just back from the night market, lantern lined streets and lake pagodas with plenty of food options on the waterfront. It was also super easy to get a Grab taxi to all the sites (roughly £3-4 each way to both). As to the hotel, it has clearly recently opened and so everything was very fresh and clean, with great Wifi and amenities. As a newly opened hotel they are still finding their feet but all the staff were very accommodating and those who couldn’t speak great English (sadly we didn’t speak much Vietnamese) found a way to communicate. We would definitely recommend this hotel if you are passing through Ninh Binh.
