SSAW Garden Hotel Ningbo Xikou

The hotel's location is excellent, and the butler service was great. However, the front desk staff on the morning shift of May 17th had a poor service attitude. When I asked if she could turn on the air conditioning in the breakfast restaurant, she actually retorted, asking if there was anyone in the restaurant and stating that she was the front desk and not responsible for the restaurant. Shouldn't she have communicated internally with the restaurant to turn on the AC quickly? She also showed great impatience with children. Facilities: A bit old, mainly the carpets in the room which had stains that couldn't be cleaned. Cleanliness: Poor. The balcony table had a thick layer of dust, and there were hairs on the towels, which I dared not use. The sheets for the tatami extra bed were not clean. Environment: Located at the exit of Xikou Pedestrian Street, it's very convenient for exploring the ancient street. Being by the Yan River, morning runs were very comfortable. Service: Most of the staff were very friendly. The butler informed us about the parking spot in advance, saving us a lot of walking, and arranged a private dining room for dinner. Although the chef's cooking for dinner was quite mediocre, the private room environment was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. Other issues: - The bathroom in the room had no exhaust fan, which was inconvenient. - The shower room had no area to place personal toiletries. - The TV couldn't cast content.

The hotel's location is convenient, the facilities are complete, the rooms are comfortable, and the front desk service is enthusiastic.

My trip to Xikou is over, and overall, the hotel was excellent. The breakfast, in particular, stood out with its fresh ingredients and wide variety – I was very satisfied. Plus, the hotel is located right within the Chiang's Former Residence scenic area, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient.

The room's overall environment was excellent, and the location was superb, right next to the former residence of Chiang Kai-shek. You could step out and stroll by the lake. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean.

Rhinitis patients must not stay here! I took my parents to the beach for a few days and wanted to come to Xikou to get some good Feng Shui. Unexpectedly, within an hour of checking in, several unhappy things happened: 1. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street. Cars can only park at the gate 250 meters away (and there is an isolation pier, so luggage needs to be carried and carried there, see the last picture). I am not sure if there is an underground parking lot, so I ran in the sun. After walking a few hundred meters into the hotel lobby, I asked where the car was parked. There was only one person at the front desk in the entire lobby, and he said "outside the gate" without raising his head... 2. Less than an hour after checking in, my dusty rhinitis broke out. When I looked carefully, my god, there were crumbs on the floor and carpets of the two rooms (227 and 228) that had not been vacuumed for at least 3 days; on every piece of furniture It was covered with a layer of fluffy dust. I immediately wiped it with a wet towel and angrily called the front desk to find a supervisor to deal with it! As a result, the aspirator stuck in my room and my parents' room and ****** for half an hour... Just like that, the situation improved, but my rhinitis was not relieved all night and I didn't sleep well. 3. Before checking out today, a pleasant-looking female supervisor came over and apologized to me while carrying peaches. She said she was not around yesterday and had not handled the matter properly. She expressed her apologies. I can only say, "It has happened. I wiped the dust from the two rooms of my parents and I myself. There is really no point in apologizing now." But to be honest, if the supervisor was here yesterday, the matter would not have been handled so unsatisfactorily. , she should be able to handle it properly! 4.
