Moxy Ningbo Old Bund

The design is truly innovative, with many surprising little touches that make it perfect for young people and families with kids. The location is superb, right within the Old Bund scenic area. I highly recommend choosing a river-view room; the scenery is absolutely stunning. Breakfast is plentiful and the ingredients are fresh.

This Moxy, with its industrial port vibe, is brimming with neon lights, trendy toys, youth, fashion, and vitality. It's like a neon pulse injected into concrete, with a rugged industrial skeleton supporting a young, fashionable soul, full of rebellious tension. The breakfast provides precise and effective energy replenishment; it's exquisite yet simple, prioritizing efficiency. (One day I arrived after breakfast hours, but the noodle chef enthusiastically made me wontons and noodles anyway!) Moxy is just that special and approachable! It's a one-minute walk to the Ningbo Museum of Art, a one-minute walk to the bar street, and a one-minute walk to the Sanjiangkou area. The night view there is truly stunning ^_^ In a few minutes, you can reach the Catholic Church at the Old Bund (they have stamps there!), and there's also a church art exhibition nearby… Cross the bridge, and in about 10 minutes, you'll find the bustling Tianyi Square and the Catholic Church on Yaohang Street, surrounded by modern businesses… It feels like time and space are instantly folded. If you rent a scooter, you can cruise around many bridges – Yongjiang Bridge, Jiangxia Bridge, Qin Bridge, Ling Bridge… Next time I'm in Ningbo, I'll definitely book Moxy again. Oh, Moxy also has stamps!

The room was a bit small, but the location is absolutely fantastic. Even though it wasn't a river view room, seeing the old buildings from the city view was a pleasant surprise. Being right in the heart of the Old Bund, it offered a different vibe whether I was exploring in the afternoon or at night. The hotel itself has a great design, and they even provided complimentary afternoon tea snacks and a welcome drink, which really made a positive impression. The Old Bund truly feels like a soul-soothing haven that's worth visiting again and again.

The hotel's location is amazing, right by the river on the Old Bund. There's a cruise terminal and a bar street downstairs, and plenty of dining options. The room facilities are decent, just don't expect too much, but everything you need is there.

The soundproofing at this hotel is absolutely terrible! I rarely leave reviews, but this time I really have to. I stayed for two nights. The first night was a Friday, and there's a street with bars nearby that were singing non-stop. It was incredibly, incredibly loud, going on until 4 AM! I barely slept a wink that first night. The second day, I spoke with the front desk and moved to a river-view room. The singing from the bars was less audible at night, but then there were drunk people on the street making noise late into the night... How can a Marriott hotel have such poor soundproofing? Even though it's in the city center, don't they consider environmental factors when designing for sound insulation? Also, in the first room I checked into, there was still leftover food in the fridge from the previous guest. Overall, aside from the excellent location, there's really nothing else worth mentioning.

This hotel is located right in the heart of the Old Bund, and you get amazing river views from your window. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything you need, making our trip smooth and enjoyable.

This Marriott hotel is located by the riverside in Ningbo's Old Bund, offering a very convenient location. It's close to both the Ningbo Bund bus station and subway entrance, and also not far from Ningbo Railway Station. The hotel service is excellent; I particularly appreciated the warm welcome drink upon check-in. The room facilities are very comprehensive, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. In addition, there's a river-view gym and a very thoughtful laundry room. Breakfast was also decent, mainly because of the fantastic view! The prime location is definitely the highlight of the stay.

Great location, right across from the scenic area with direct river views. The mattress was super comfortable, and the afternoon tea was lovely and perfect for photos. The river view room was also very quiet at night. My only minor complaint is that the service was just okay. I never received the welcome fruit, and I'm not sure what the front desk was so busy with.

The hotel is just a few steps away from the Bund and the bar street, as shown in the pictures. For ride-hailing services, you can set the adjacent art museum as your pick-up location. The gym even has a hanging punch bag.
