The Welcomheritage Ayatana loacted some 15km from Ooty town centre is situated in serene beauty with tea plantations all around and the Nilgris Mountain Range in the background. The grounds themselves are very well decorated with a swimming pool and activities facilities such as the Rope Course and Cricket Nets. We had the most wonderful time staying and relaxing at this hotel. The Management and staff were very proactive and catered for our every needs. However I feel the hotel lacks some basic facilities viz: 1. No Spa 2.No Gym facilities 3. No Sauna Facilities 4. No bar 5. No in-house laundry - takes 48hours for laundry to be washed, ironed and returned. I understand from talking to the Senior Management at the site that all of these things are in the planning and once installed it will certainly complete a wonderful experience. One thing the room lacked was the facility to heat it during the cold winter months. They did provide us with a heater but given the size of the room this was totally inadequate. Clearly ths is an oversight as heating facilites is a must for the very cold winter months.

We had a wonderful holiday at Ayatana Ooty. The resort is a short scenic drive from the hustle and bustle of Ooty and Coonoor. Accommodation is set in such a way that view from the bed of every cottage is fantastic..Outstanding location and the experienced staff made our stay exceptional. Mr Rizwan, an young and energetic staff of front office was very much helpful in organising my holiday at Ayatana Ooty. The weather was amazing during our stay with intermittent drizzle and fog. Those who like the serene and calm atmosphere with amazing view and fabulous food should definitely visit this resort.

Our stay at the Ayatana ooty was wonderful, and the team made it even more memorable by helping me plan a surprise birthday celebration for my husband. From the moment I mentioned my idea, they took charge of every detail. The staff arranged a beautifully decorated area & a cake at the balcony that created the perfect setting for a special celebration. Thanks to the staff, Ms Shaheen & the manager, Mr Suresh helped me in setting up the surprise for my husband. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff was attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly so we could fully enjoy the moment. The rooms were elegant and comfortable, and the amenities added to the overall experience. Thanks to Ayatana’s incredible service, our celebration was unforgettable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The experience visiting of Ooty, become more memorable with the stay. staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful in assisting. Especially in dinning Murari Nautiyal and Lal bachan were helpful in making the dining experience great!

A great experience. One of the best Chinese dishes cooked by Chef Majait khan. A must try. Do visit and try meals prepared by him. He is an asset to the Ayatana kitchen in Ooty. His dishes can be nominated on international platforms. I would definitely visit again

Ayatana ooty is an amazing resort with a fantastic staff to take care of you. chef majid khan and kulpreet and the the entire team was excellent. hospitality was fantastic right from the reception to the the restaurant. entire property is totally value for money .food location surroundings , rooms everything made our stay really delightful

Stay at ayatana was perfect peaceful.Place was maintained very clean. Hospitality is par off excellence. Staff were highly responsive. Ayatana Architecture was astounding.price was bit high but experience was outstanding. I would like to visit ayatana once again with my wife and kids.What i like about this place is there are less houses,less people. Hence quality of stay is gud. Breakfast was delicious.

We have been to Ayatana Coorg property earlier, so wanted to try out this long weekend during Diwali at the new Ooty property, more importantly being pet friendly. As expected, the property is luxurious, although this much smaller that Coorg one. But definitely nice. The chalets are really comfortable, the hospitality is top notch, we went for half board - the food quality is very good, loved it. Overall a very good experience. The nature walk was really good, via the plantation area. Need to start the spa asap. Couple of points for improvment: 1. Add more outdoor activities - since being a small area, exploration is done within half a day. 2. Add more dustbins, in all the outside areas, there were none. We, have a pet, if she used to poop, we pick and clean, did not have a easy place to put it in the trash. Overall a very nice experience.
