The main advantages of this hotel are its traditional ryokan-style atmosphere, the on-site hot spring baths, and its convenient location. Several tourist attractions and bus stops are within walking distance, and the room rates are reasonable. However, the service was extremely disappointing. On the day of check-out, the hotel only allowed luggage storage until 12:00 PM. After check-out, guests were not permitted to use any of the hotel’s facilities, including the restroom. Instead, we were told to use the public restroom next door. Because of the poor customer service and lack of flexibility, I would not recommend staying here.

This onsen ryokan is nestled close to nature, offering stunning views of the stream. The guest rooms with their tatami mats are cozy and comfortable. The various hot springs are incredibly relaxing for both body and mind. The meals are exquisite, delicious, and offer a wide variety of choices.

The location was great, very close to Toshogu Shrine, and being able to leave our luggage there was a big plus. It was a bit of a trek to get to restaurants, as you had to walk downhill quite a bit, but there are also many street food options, so it wasn't too much of an issue except at night. The public bath was also decently sized and enjoyable.

Great hotel, friendly reception and considerate service! The hot springs are great! The main location is very good, right in front of the Shinbashi Bridge and the entrance to Toshogu Shrine! Taking the bus is also very convenient! 👍👍👍
