Kinugawa Onsen Hana No Yado Matsuya Reviews

Very nice hotel, room is very big, onsen is very comfortable! Very delicious dinner and breakfast! There's a garden inside the hotel for you to enjoy the scenery!

The hotel located in the next station from kinugawa onsen. I have booked one night here. The hotel provided japanese gown in room for yukata to all guests. Badly they provide male apparel for us. The staff who saw always gossip very bad experience. However, Staff at breakfast floor is very nice. He can't speak English but I feel his kindness.

The room is big and comfortable. The view from the hotel also excellent. The downside is that there is check in timing (last check in is 1800) and there is no any other shop around the hotel so it is the best to add on dinner. The dinner taste still can be acceptable.

Good location as just a few minutes walk from the train station. Hotel is quite spacious with traditional decoration. The open air onsen next to the river provides very unique experience for you to immerse into the nature while soaking in the hotspring!

Very good hospitality and good food. The ryokan is a little old and the area of Kinugawa really gives you the feel of a city past its prime. However the staff were very friendly and it’s well maintained

Very traditional Japanese Onsen hotel, enriched with lots of traditional Paintings, decorations and calligraphy. It is built within a valley and quiet garden, and my rooms are facing the garden with colorful marple leaves during the late autumn. They served very nice and well presented traditional Japanese foods in the evening and with an English speaking lady serving me with introductions of each kinds of food they served. It’s a very good experience, really enjoying the Japanese cuisine and their hospitality.

Good service and location. The onsen is nice with views . Very green and provide relax atmosphere.

The location is good but I could smell the mold indoors probably due to bad ventilation. The neighborhood is of few stores and a little bit inconvenient if you’re don’t have meal packages. The outdoor onsen is fine though

Private Onsen available on reservation, have to check with the front desk upon check-in. The room provided is well decorated with tatami floor and comfy futon beds. Located on a river and quick walk from a train station.
