Nagar Hotel Nha Trang

The hotel's location is great, just a three or four-minute walk to the beach. The room was clean, and the hotel staff were very friendly. There was even a young man who spoke some Chinese, which was really nice! The breakfast was a bit simple, though.

Convenient access to food and drinks, the room exceeded expectations, and it was very quiet at night. In the morning, there's a Vietnamese baguette stand downstairs, which is really good and worth trying. The staff treated all guests, including Chinese visitors, equally, which was a nice touch.

Not bad, but I felt this hotel was lacking in some details. Cons: 1. Hot water didn't work properly. 2. Water pressure in the shower was weak. 3. TV wasn't working. 4. When I checked out, I left my luggage, and when I came back, they gave me someone else's bag... When I told them it wasn't mine, they seemed flustered and brought me my actual bag. Pros: 1. The smell when I checked in was lovely, a woody scent. 2. There's a small shop next to the hotel that sells mangoes for 40,000 VND per kilo, and they are incredibly delicious... Five times tastier than the famous '65 something' mangoes. The '65' ones often have a lot of fibrous bits. If these issues were improved, I'd probably go again.

The staff were so friendly, and the accommodation was incredibly clean. The pool was also larger than expected, and the breakfast was good enough that I ate it every day. It's so good that I'd love to come back again. If I ever visit Martrang again, I'll definitely stay here!

The room was generally clean, and the bedding was spotless. However, the windows and mirrors were smudged and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The breakfast could definitely be improved. The location is decent. It's an option to consider, but not for an extended stay.

The hotel is a bit run-down and the room was a little dirty. Housekeeping was daily, but the bedding also had old stains. Breakfasts were quite good. There's a 500 deposit. The room smelled damp. They provide shower gel and shampoo, etc., but the scent is peculiar, and the water takes a long time to heat up. Overall, it's an okay hotel for those not too picky.

The deposit is either cash or your passport. Leaving your passport as a deposit is unthinkable! 😲 Definitely do not do it! ⚠ Since I didn't have cash on hand, I paid in JPY. The room wasn't thoroughly cleaned; there were still cotton swabs left from the previous guest, and from the second day onwards, I was surprised to receive extremely tattered, rag-like towels (please see the photos). Also, Trip.com states that there's a bathtub, but be aware that this room type does not have one! ⚠ There are no spare toilet paper rolls either. The location is convenient, and I could see the ocean from the balcony. ◎ The breakfast was also decent and tasty. There are 5 hotel-exclusive sun loungers on the beach, which you can reserve in the morning. Note that towels are not provided at the beach, so you need to pick them up at the front desk before heading down. That's quite inconvenient.

This hotel is below average. The cleaning is poor. The toilet has very low water pressure; they tried to fix it, but it didn't work. The staff promised to sort it out with the manager, but no one did anything further. I didn't want to waste time arguing. Beach towels are only issued until 11 AM, so if you want to go to the beach in the evening, you won't get one. They take a deposit at check-in, even though the room actually has a dirty armchair and everything is run down, including dirty bathrobes and towels. No one there cleans or even sweeps.

A decent hotel. Very convenient location with a pool on the 22nd floor. Large balconies overlooking the sea.
