totally unacceptable behavior of the Hotel counter staff, especially the Front Desk Associate called Simmone (see photo) who is a very very RUDE person, not suitable for customer service job. This hotel does not even have an Email address to liaise with. Need to spend $$ to call them via IDD from Singapore. Official chech-in is at 3pm, however when we came at 3pm,, they could not provide us the room, told us to wait......ridiculous The Hotel shuttle service DOES NOT run on time as stated There were cockroaches and other creepy crawlies running around in the room and toilet (see photo) in Room (502) The coffee machine in the Lobby is always SPOILT (see photo) There was no fridge in our Room (701) The aircon was spoilt in our room on 2 Jul (sauna like enviromment in the summer heat) We requested via TRIP.com for all our 5 rooms to be on the same level and next to each other if possible, however the Front Desk Associate called Simmone said she does not bother about our request via TRIP.com and gave the rooms on different levels. Stupidity on a different level. Overall this is the WORST Hotel we have stayed in. Will NEVER NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone

The Robert Treat Hotel is a very nice place for an overnight getaway or any occasion. Although my room had to be changed 3xs due to a few things not working and a blood stained comforter. The staff from the Front Desk to Engineering/Housekeeping to Security were diligent in making sure I was comfortable for the remainder of my stay!! In the hospitality industry, many things do happen however, it's the way in which things are handled! THANK YOU AGAIN STAFF FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM AND TAKING CARE OF MY ISSUES PROMPTLY! I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN I WILL STILL GIVE 5 STARS!

Overall, the hotel is quite good. The room was clean and tidy. I would give the hotel an excellent rating where it not for a few small quirks. Although there was an ice bucket in the room, there were no cups or glasses. There was also no small coffee machine, although there was a small refrigerator. The hotel claims to be environmentally conscious asking you to put your towels back on the rack if you do not want them washed daily. I did that with the bath towel and bath mat however both were taken anyway and not replaced until later that evening when they appeared in a small plastic bag hung on the outside door knob.

A very pleasant stay. The hotel felt comfortable and well cared for, and the staff made me feel welcome. Everything was smooth and stress-free. I especially enjoyed the coffee and the overall atmosphere.

AC/Heater doesn’t work no fan activity, took forever to get hot water, electric outlets didn’t work, no coffee maker. We probably won’t stay there again. It was convenient for access to the NJPAC. And then the price we paid??  I would definitely research the other hotels in the area.

The hotel's overall condition didn't quite meet my expectations due to the large number of guests during the year-end events. However, I was pleased with the daily housekeeping cleanliness and the hotel's location. The Whole Foods Market across the street and the airport pick-up/drop-off service were also a plus.

Got a memorable stay here for my concert!

Needed to go to Prudential Center for a concert and decided that it is within walking distance. Check in was terrible. The front lady forgot about me after telling me to wait for 10 mins for my room. I requested for a room near the elevator as I hate walking down a long corridor, BUT she gave me the furthest room, next to the Exit stairs. Sigh….. Bed was comfortable. Rest of the room was ok but hot water took too long to heat up and the water pressure was pathetic. Elevator was slow and we had to wait a long time for the 2 elevators. Then in the evening one elevator broke down. The wait was excruciating long! At 1.30 am I got woken up by bratty kids stomping on my Neighbour’s door. And the nightmare began when the Neighbour from Hell decided to have a party in their room. I called the reception 3 times and they promised that they would send a security guard to ask them to quieten down. But the moment I hang up, I could hear their phone ring! No one came up and the noise continued. After the third call, someone finally came up and the party finally went away. I had to tolerate 3 hours of noise. The day before I was told that the airport shuttle would leave on the hour, every hour. So I came down at 7.45 am only to be told that it is half past every hour. So I had to wait for 45 mins in the lobby. At the lobby there were stragglers sleeping in the lobby. Overall I won’t come back to this hotel.

I would only recommend this hotel if you have something to do around the area like going to the prudential centre because it is very close to there. Someone in the room next to us was smoking cigarettes non stop our entire stay (neither myself or my partner smoke) and we went home REEKING of cigarettes. We told the front desk and nothing was done about the situation. If you need any extra towels or anything for your room, expect to wait for the elevator and head down to the lobby to get it yourself. Front staff was friendly, I’m just not sure the stay was worth the price at all, again - only stay if you have nowhere else to go.

The hotel is quite new, and I heard a president once stayed here. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Newark Penn Station, and they offer an hourly shuttle service to the station and the airport. There's also a Whole Foods right across the street, which is super convenient.
