"I stayed here for 2 nights during a stopover. Everything is clean and new, it's close to the night market. MAKE SURE YOU contact them well before check in because they send you directions via Whats App so you don't have an issue finding this hotel. I used trip.com to book it and it was very easy. The price was reasonable and it was close to everything. There are many stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom is beautiful. There's also a post office nearby which is an advantage for me (within 3 mintues) because I had to ship some stuff home to avoid fees from the airline. About 5 mins drive from train station. Would definitely stay here again. When you are tryiing to find this place on Uber, make sure you put in ”AT HOME HOTEL NANSHI” because originally it took me to the other ”AT HOME HOTEL.” There are also free snacks and drinks in the lobby, which I never experienced before in all my travels."

"What I liked most was the cleanliness. I stayed at a much more expensive place before, and the sheets had a slight detergent smell. This hotel, though, is genuinely spotless. If you're okay with its retro vibe, it's an excellent choice."

"The hotel's location is really convenient for shopping, especially with so many great food options nearby – it's super handy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are quite a few tourists around, but generally, it's still quiet once you close the window. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and can help book cars, which costs about the same as a taxi, so it's a convenient option."

Located in Taipei’s Ximending district, just a one-minute walk from the MRT exit, Oani is a tranquil oasis hidden within the heart of the city. Named after “Oasis” and the Latin word “Ani” (spirit), it is designed to support travelers seeking calm, rhythm, and inner restoration. Created by BenShi Studio, the space features natural materials and soft, rippling light that evokes the gentle expansion of water waves—Oani’s signature quiet and reassuring aesthetic. Each guestroom is equipped with the medical-grade air purification system “CLEANLINESS CS101 Max,” which uses patented plasma sterilization technology to eliminate bacteria and PM0.3 particles. Whether day or night, guests can feel a true sense of safety with consistently clean air. Oani’s sensory experience unfolds through the five senses: “Scent Domain” offers bespoke fragrances crafted by P.Seven, allowing guests to bring a sense of comfort back to their rooms; “Stillness Chamber” features zero-gravity massage chairs paired with curated music to release both body and mind. Afternoon handmade fruit popsicles and late-night Taiwanese-style snacks capture the warm flavors of the city. More than a place to stay, Oani is a journey where breath, light, and emotions slowly return to balance. Here, every guest is gently understood and thoughtfully supported—so you may depart renewed, with a better version of yourself.

"The facilities are brand new, and the location is excellent. They offer free late-night snacks and all-you-can-drink beer. The room key cards are made of wood, which gives a nice touch of nature. There's also a great selection of pillows to choose from, and the indoor slippers are all cleaned and sanitized. Even though it's a backpacker hostel, it feels like a boutique-level experience. I'll definitely choose it again if I get the chance."

Additional thoughtful services such as luggage storage and power adapter rentals are also available. If you're looking for a space that combines cultural ambiance with modern design, AKA Hotel is your ideal choice.

"The hotel's location is convenient. However, be aware that the entrance isn't very obvious; it took a while to find it. If you see a Family Mart, just go in, and you'll spot it. The hotel is very close to Yongkang Street, which is great for strolling and eating. There's also a 7-Eleven nearby. The hotel itself is new, and the front desk staff are polite. One thing to note: the laundry room doesn't provide detergent, so you'll need to buy your own. Also, I'm not sure why the internet worked fine on the iPad but was very slow on my phone. Overall, it's a good experience, and I would stay here again."

Hotel near Taipei Arena,Taipei
Designed by the renowned André Fu Studio as a modern mansion, Capella Taipei beckons you to craft your own sanctuary. Perfectly situated in the dynamic Songshan district, this haven of luxury rises above the city’s vibrant pulse, offering a peaceful escape within reach of Taipei 101, Taipei Arena, and Songshan Airport. Delight in a journey of flavours across five distinctive venues, spanning an intimate omakase experience to a multi-storied destination bar, each a celebration of artisanal flair. Rejuvenate at our spa, a restorative retreat sculpted with organic curves and a grounding atmosphere, that welcomes you to fully unwind. Capella Taipei reveals a new layer of the city's rich character, blending tradition with modern allure through immersive experiences, from exploring the city's oldest neighbourhoods to visiting a scenic tea farm nestled in the mountains.

"I went to Taiwan on May Day and stayed in the newly opened Capella Hotel in Taipei for two nights. I would like to share my experience with you. The hardware environment of the hotel is first-class. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel Capella's consistent high-end aesthetics and quality standards. The reception hall on the 14th floor is grand and stylish. The living room has both check-in and lounge functions. Whether it is checking in, meeting guests or resting, it is very decent. The atmosphere is full and the details are luxurious. The breakfast is great, worthy of the standard of a luxury hotel. Finally, after Tokyo Park Hyatt, I saw a hotel breakfast with blueberry and strawberry, which directly added points. Capella breakfast includes champagne. It was champagne oysters early in the morning. I felt a little dizzy~ Taiwan's local specialty breakfast includes egg pancakes, beef noodles and porridge. The iced latte is unexpectedly delicious. Taiwan's beverages are really amazing! However, this stay experience was not satisfactory in terms of software services. It may be because it was newly opened. The room service response speed was extremely slow. When you need something urgently, you often have to wait for a long time, which affects your mood. Because of government regulations, the room is not equipped with any disposable toiletries. Although it is understandable, it always feels like the policy is used to prevaricate the service. When you actually check in, you need a shower cap and toothpaste, and you have to call again and again... The service response is slow, which is somewhat inconsistent with Capella's high-end positioning. What makes me most dissatisfied and worried is the problem of the swimming pool. The hotel has only one outdoor swimming pool on the 14th floor. My husband went to swim at 8:30 in the morning and returned to the room with severe discomfort. His heart rate soared to 160 and he didn't recover all day. The reason is that the water temperature of the swimming pool is too high, which has exceeded the normal body temperature of 37 degrees. This is not swimming but soaking in a hot spring, but there is no lifeguard in the swimming pool, which poses a great safety hazard. The communication with the foreign manager was fruitless, and he only kept saying: ”Thank you for your advice and provide us with valuable advice~ Our lifeguard only starts work at 8:30.” Shouldn't there be lifeguards when the swimming pool is open? There is no display of key information such as water temperature, water acidity and alkalinity, and water monitoring report of the day next to the swimming pool. Guests cannot understand the water quality and water temperature of the swimming pool and it is difficult to use it with peace of mind. In general, the hardware environment of Capella Taipei is indeed excellent, but many problems with software services affect the overall stay experience."
