This was one of the most unacceptable hotel experiences I have ever had.
I booked this property via Trip.com with a clearly stated “pay at hotel” amount of USD 1,964.76. However, after my stay, my credit card was charged/authorized multiple times (USD 2,340.00, USD 690.87, and USD 405.97), far exceeding the agreed amount.
The most alarming issue is the hotel’s completely broken billing system. A single reservation was split into multiple folios under different names- including my own, my husband’s, and even my minor child’s name.
Even worse, each folio shows inconsistent and incorrect details. Some folios list “No. of Guest: 1,” while others show different numbers, despite this being a single reservation for the same room. Creating a billing record under a minor’s name is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns.
Additionally, the invoices contain a Chinese address that I have never provided, and I am now receiving communications in Chinese. This clearly indicates that my personal data has been incorrectly recorded.
When I contacted customer service, I was simply told to wait or contact my bank/card issuer. This response is irresponsible and unacceptable, as this is clearly a hotel-side billing and data management failure.
This is not a simple billing mistake - it reflects serious issues in both financial handling and customer data integrity.
I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property unless they are prepared to carefully monitor their charges and deal with potential billing disputes.
