The Time New York

Great location in the middle of Times Square. immediately next to several Broadway Theatres! In the midst of the vibe and energy of New York at all hours of the day. Staff generally friendly and helpful…from doorman, porter and cleaning staff. Nevertheless, we had a not so pleasant experience with one particular reception staff. Pay attention that the rooms vary in size and configuration from floor to floor. We were given 519, a shockingly small shoe box sized room the size of a broom closet! In addition, it has a huge retrofitted ac unit which takes up an additional 30cm/12” (not shown on plan) and is 5ft tall covering up the 60% of the window! Friendly tip: don’t book the smaller sized rooms…! 🤣👌🏻

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room we had was very old. Beds are worn so as the pillow cases. Carpet dirty. The sink in the bathroom is broken and water doesn’t flow through. We preferred not to take shower for the night. We expected complimentary late check out as compensation. Instead, the manger wanted to place charges for that.

Perfect location. Great room and service. Would definitely stay here again!

Very good location. 5min from time square. 1 block from metro station.. very convenience and lots of place to eat.. Clean room and good amenities but small bathroom. Highly recommended for those who want to stay in time squares area.

Place is directly in front of Chicago and beside Mormon Show Very convenient and near subway and Timesquare Lots of food and restaurants Walking distance to iconic places - Central Park, AMNH, Rockefeller centre, multiple Broadway shows ***highly recommend getting tickets at TKTS Time Square for heavily discounted tickets for musicals***

We came here specifically for Broadway Week and this location was very central; it was walking distance to most theaters and really close to the subway stations and Times Square! They had a Wine & Cheese Hour from 5-6pm daily, and that was nice. Eric at the Concierge was really welcoming, friendly and he surprised us with a little honeymoon gift in our room! He also gave us a tour of the place since it was our first time at the hotel. The room size was pretty big compared to some other Manhattan hotels! Hotel staff and bartender are all super friendly. Food options post broadway shows were lacking in the area, but at least you can easily walk everywhere. I would recommend staying here if you're looking for a decent room size and central location. Also, Juniors (cheesecake) and Central Perk Coffee is down the street! If you stay here, stop by the concierge to talk to Eric! He's very helpful! Thank you Eric ! :)
