It was an amazing birthday trip and this hotel provided the right ambiance

Holiday was a 18 th bday gift for my son . Room 706 for 1 night The hotel had put up bday balloons and banners and was a nice surprise . The hotel is in a great position downtown Manhattan really close to the underground stations and close to 9/11 memorials. The street Hotel is on is in a bit of unloved area with empty buildings surrounding it - could do with some TLC Lobby areas and room are nice and had great amenities but looking tired and dated and lots of areas could be freshened up Inside Lifts are covered in a fabric which as we are just getting over covid seemed strange as unsure why required and certainly wouldn’t be easy to be cleaned Also in the room the sink tap was very crooked and the en-suite door was loose and needs proper fixing. Strange how the kettle is in the bathroom !! Feel like the sink should be in the bathroom and the kettle outside the bathroom Bathroom door is a sliding mechanism and worked although broken and hinges loose TV was good and wifi excellent Lobby amenities of free hot drinks was a welcomed after a long journey . Guest Toilet on c floor was very unloved and needs refitting as worn and dated Staff are helpful , stored our cases with ease , checking in and out easy Thanks for a great short stay

The room was super hot because I don’t know why they do a “winter mood” and the outside temprature is just around 60-70 F. We have 4 people in a room and we could not sleep at night because it is humid and hot, tha AC was only at 65F and can not goes any lower cause it is a “winter mood” like they said. The actualy tem in a room is 85F and it feel like I slept at the room with broken AC. Btw it is not worth the penny. Don’t stay here

Comfortable room. Hot water fluctuate a lot. Good location near subway stations, restaurants and droug stores

Disappointing Customer Service Overshadowed My Stay The room and hotel itself were satisfactory, and the rates on ******* were good. However, my experience was ruined by the way staff handled an important package that had been delivered to the property for me. The front desk could not locate it and told me to speak with the supervisor, who then directed me to email the operations manager. Unfortunately, the manager never responded. This lack of care, accountability, and follow-through left me without essential items I needed for my trip, and I could not replace them in time. To make matters worse, each time we passed the front desk, staff avoided eye contact, which only reinforced my impression of guilt and indifference. While the accommodations met expectations, the unprofessional handling of my package and the dismissive attitude of the staff left me with a very negative impression. Sadly, this bad experience put a huge damper on what should have been an enjoyable stay.

Cozy and Safe The staff members were very friendly and helpful. It’s a cool and comfortable place.
