Can’t fault the place just u fortunate when we booked up the place is getting a revamp. Lots of used mattresses furniture etc in the lobby outside as the new replacement stuff was going inside. The photo is the stack of mattresses. Didn’t affect my rating but I think with the refurb going inside they should’ve reduced the price of the nights in my opinion. Lots of workers and as I said things lying around walking in and out inside and outside the hotel.

This hotel is located in Chelsea, very close to the subway station and not far from the Empire State Building, making transportation very convenient. The lounge area on the first floor offers a variety of self-service beverages. The front desk staff are also very friendly, and you can store your luggage for free both before and after check-in. The room is also quite spacious. For this price, the facilities and service are truly excellent value for money. The only minor downside was that the curtain track in my room was broken in the middle, so I couldn't fully close the curtain.

The room is small…, but with a comfortable bed (king size bed). Good shower as well. American Standard Breakfast… It’s close to New Balance and On stores. The big and terrible problem was the elevator.., only one working (long queues and a lot of delay)..!! I wouldn’t stay again..!

Firsr,you have to check your invoice from Trip.com and the hotel,the take a deposit 200 US Dollars! As i know i pay all fees prepaid before to the Trip.com,later, they take around 180 USDollars as taxes!!! Also,there is clothes washing machine ,need to pay by application( not good for outside traveeller like my situation) otherwise you have to have coins, i ask the front dest person to help me but she said that there is no changes( coins) .as ahotel they should have a change or put a machine to rplace the note paper money to coins. The elevator is slow and on one of them is not working. The water inside the room not free..even one bottole! The housekeeper s are good.

We had a grand time! We came in early and we were pleased that we were accommodated warmly. The place in Chelsea was really noce and we felt at home. HAMPTON INN will now be our first choice on our next travels to the US Northeast.

For New York City, where space is at a premium, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The Asian lady at the front desk was very friendly. Definitely recommend! The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to a subway station, making it super convenient for getting around. The only downside is that one of the two elevators was under maintenance, so there was only one operational. This meant longer wait times to go up and down.
