Location is great. Some issues with the room. Satellite TV did not get many channels (e.g. couldn't;get CNN and other common channels). Window heating unit was old and loud. Sink didn't drain properly.

I want to thank SHARON who was our Guest Services Coordinator for all her kind gestures and assistance during our stay. Our train was late coming in from Montreal Canada and she made sure we did not lose our booking AND because we had an early departure to the airport the next morning, SHARON secured sack breakfast for our party, so a BIG THANK YOU Hampton Inn-Manhattan Chelsea, if you are in the area, it’s a great place to stay!

The shower head did not hang up so it was awkward trying to shower holding it. It was walk in but the floor got soaked, had to lay all the towels on the floor to soak it up. The first 2 days only one elevator was working. I won’t stay there again.

The TV had no stations to watch. The technician came up twice, was irritated and the problem remained after he left both times. So I just gave up on TV!
There was only one elevator working and it took as long as 15 minutes for the elevator to arrive.
The ladies at the front desk and the kitchen were very nice though.
