Candlewood Suites NEW YORK CITY- TIMES SQUARE by IHG

Booked last minute for a one-night stay. The hotel was average—comfortable enough, but nothing special. Like most hotels in the area, it’s expensive; you’re really paying for the location rather than the accommodations. On the plus side, it’s very close to Times Square, which is super convenient

Enjoyed my stay overall. Clean, comfortable room. Helpful staff. Only issue was the two elevators, waited 15+ mins each day. On check out day, had to leave bag in the room and walk down many floors else I'd miss an appointment.

The hotel was in an excellent, central position to explore New York. The room was clean and well presented and there was a well stocked kitchen area. The staff were helpful. We had a very comfortable stay. There was a minor inconvenience that only on elevator worked and nothing seemed to be done about mending the other one.

The location was excellent, and the staff was very helpful. However, there were issues with the elevators. The hotel only had two elevators; one was out of service, and the other was intermittently not working. This made using the stairs extremely challenging, especially in a facility with over 30 floors.

The hotel had great amenities like free water and hot chocolate at the lobby. The room was a bit messy and restroom wasn’t very clean when I first checked in. I had to wipe the shower down myself. Overall what I expected, but the elevators were the worst part. They had only one elevator working for 32 floors of rooms and had to wait 15 minutes multiple times throughout my stay to take the elevator up or down.

Good location, spacious room with kitchen, it will be a perfect hotel if only the elevators are working normally.

The hotel is in a great location and only a 7 minutes walking distance to my training location. Cleaning was well done the first few days and the 3 other days they wre coming in so late in the evening after I had returned from my training. The air conditioning in the room is quote noisy and disturbs sleep most times. The location is great and staff friendly.
