voco TIMES SQUARE - BROADWAY by IHG

I want to thank you for the quality of my stay at the Voco. I really appreciated the welcome, the modern facilities, the comfort of the hotel, and the professionalism of your team. I would have loved to extend my stay by one night, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible. Within just a few minutes, the price more than doubled, which made extending my stay impossible for me. It's a bit frustrating because I would have much rather stayed with you than have to look for another hotel. I just wanted to share this small disappointment, which doesn't take away from the quality of your establishment and your hospitality. Looking forward to returning for a future stay, hopefully with better luck with the rates!

The location is great for exploring on foot. The staff were very helpful with everything. This was my first time staying in such a small room, but it didn't feel cramped at all. It can be a bit noisy at night because the room I stayed in was right by Main Road 7. Overall, everything was very good.

The hotel's location is super convenient, close to Times Square and has everything you need. The only minor drawback was that the water dispenser was out of order that day, so we had to buy water from a convenience store ourselves. Other than that, everything else was great.

Beyond its location, everything else was quite mediocre. In a room with two double beds, there wasn't even enough space to open a single suitcase, and the bathroom door made a lot of noise when opening and closing. The bedding was clean, but the room itself wasn't spotless. On top of that, it was extremely expensive, costing nearly 4,000 Hong Kong dollars per night, and the price fluctuated wildly. I've never stayed in a hotel I was so dissatisfied with. The front desk service was also just okay, rather indifferent. They gave us extra breakfast and dining vouchers, but the hotel food wasn't good.

The location is quite convenient, right in Times Square. The room is small, but the facilities are good. Upon arrival, we were told there's a daily resort fee of $35, which includes slippers and two bottles of water.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right in the city center, steps away from Broadway theaters, Times Square, and the Empire State Building. It's incredibly convenient for getting around. The hotel restaurant's cranberry salad and desserts were delicious, and the steak entree was so generous in portion size I couldn't finish it. The gentleman at the front desk wearing a mask provided fantastic service (I'm so sorry I forgot to ask his name!). He not only explained the hotel facilities but also showed me how to use the elevators. If I visit New York again, I'll definitely choose VOCO.

I booked a king-size bed room, but it was extremely small. On top of that, they charged an extra $36 for check-out, claiming it was a 'facility fee' – pure nonsense. Many hotels in New York like to charge deposits or use credit cards to overcharge guests. The Hilton I stayed at a few days ago allowed cash payments and refunded the cash directly the next day, which was fair. However, some hotels that require credit cards often overcharge guests after they check out. This hotel tries to attract customers by lowering the initial price, then at check-in, they tell you your credit card will be released at check-out and no money will be deducted. But then, at check-out, they suddenly inform you of a $36 per night 'facility fee' and refuse to provide a final invoice. Ctrip helped me resolve the issue, which I'm satisfied with, but the hotel itself uses legal loopholes to charge extra fees.

The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right in Times Square, New York. The room is a tad small, and the hallway is a bit narrow, but the bed is huge! For a tourist, it's more than sufficient!
