My stay at EVEN Hotel Brooklyn was generally comfortable, though there are a few things to note. The hotel is in a very convenient location with many eateries nearby, and several train lines within a short walk, making it easy to travel to any part of New York City. The neighbourhood felt safe overall, despite a shooting incident that took place nearby during our stay. The room itself was not super clean, and it contained several exercise equipment items, which may not suit everyone. While the concept is unique, it made the room feel a bit cluttered. That said, the hotel’s surroundings and accessibility remain its strongest points. It is a practical option if you value convenience and easy access to transport and food choices.

Going to the hotel from 8 Ave is better than from 9 Ave, unless you would like to pass by the police station. The room is clean, surprised that they provide yoga mat and foam roller, just I could hear noise from the door entrance, otherwise it is even better.

🗽✨ My stay at the EVEN Hotel New York - Midtown East by IHG was, on the whole, really satisfying. The biggest advantage was definitely the location 👍. Being right in the heart of Midtown East, it was incredibly convenient for using the subway and bus, making it the optimal spot for getting to major Manhattan attractions. I had a packed travel schedule, and having almost no stress about getting around really helped me manage my energy 🚶‍♂️🚇. Even though the hotel shows its age a bit, the room condition was surprisingly clean ✨. The bedding was spotless, and I was impressed by how well-maintained the bathroom and general tidiness of the room were. Noise wasn't an issue, so I could rest comfortably at night. Overall, it strongly felt like a practical yet stable place to stay. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who prioritizes location, cleanliness, and comfort over luxury 😊. If I come back to New York, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Located in a relatively safe Chinese neighborhood. There are Chinese restaurants nearby, like Heytea. Subway stations are a 5-minute walk in both north and south directions. There's a vending machine for drinks and snacks on the first floor. Rooms facing the highway are quite noisy.
