Very friendly staff, ready to help and give advice on the place. Room was clean, though a slapped mosquito was still on the wall. We just stayed one night, it was more than worth the price: extremely well located, near enough the two old streets, and far enough so you can sleep / have a quiet time when needed. Close to the Keelung mountain trail too. Some rooms have a view, we had a garden.

It was great to have a quiet stay. A solo room is truly the best! This place is close to Jiufen Old Street, making it perfect for sightseeing in Jiufen. I definitely wanted to stay for a night and relax, so I did. It's really nice to be able to spend time without worrying about when to head back. Jiufen is on a mountain, and the slopes are steep and more tiring than I expected, so I think there's a big difference between staying overnight and just visiting for the day.

Overall, the facilities are decent, but the bathroom definitely feels a bit dated. The location is really great, and it's a huge plus that we could park our scooter on the top floor! However, there were quite a few mosquitos at night, and the soundproofing isn't great. The noise from other guests going upstairs was a bit disruptive to sleep.

Very close to the old town, so it's super convenient for shopping and eating. The information provided before check-in was incredibly helpful, especially regarding parking! The room itself was very spacious, and having two air conditioners was a pleasant surprise. The bed was just okay, but I personally prefer flatter pillows, so the ones in the room were a bit too high for me. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, which was a minor drawback.

The room was generally clean. There were two small cockroaches and some mosquitoes, but it's on a mountain and Taiwan has a lot of mosquitoes anyway, so I guess it's okay? I don't really understand why check-in isn't until 4 PM, but whatever.

Soundproofing isn't the best, but otherwise, it's great value for money. The location is convenient and excellent, and there's parking available. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Just be aware that there might be flying ants in the summer evenings, so make sure to keep windows and doors closed. The staff are friendly and kind.
