Just returned from a super holiday staying at this hotel for 2 weeks. The Sonnhof is a very well maintained traditional hotel with modern facilities. It's really well run by Peter and his team, all of whom are friendly and welcoming. Our room was on the 4th floor with a superb view of the glacier and, although in the village centre, very quiet. Food was excellent with a mix of traditional Austrian and Italian fare with a variety of other cuisines which kept it all very interesting. Having advised Peter of dietary restrictions at the start of the holiday he ensured there were always options for me. This was much appreciated, as was the best gluten free bread I've ever tasted! Not available in UK sadly! Very impressed with the Sonnhof and hope to return next year.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are comfortable warm and quiet. There is balcony with a nice view. Excellent breakfast. Central location. The staff and the hotel owners are very kind. 20 minutes to cable car. There is private parking at the entrance. Strongly recommend.

Ho soggiornato per 6 notti, con la famiglia, in mezza pensione. Mi sono trovato molto bene nel complesso, non ho riscontrato negatività da segnalre. Struttura in stile tradizionale alpino, molto curata in tutti i particolari. Ho apprezzato particolarmente 1) il servizio, sia in sala ristorante sia all'accoglienza; 2) la spa, con ampia vasca idormassaggio, sauna, bagno turco, kneipp, sdraio relax, ed altro ancora. La camera è nella norma, molto bene i materassi. Orario colazione 7,30-10; per la cena occorre presentarsi entro le 19,30. La colazione è come te la aspetti in un hotel di montagna: salumi, formaggi, uova, frutta fresca e sciroppata, yogurt, cereali di vario titpo, ampia scelta di pane, burro, marmellate, quasi assenti le paste tipo brioche/cornetti, disponibile una centrifuga con verdura fresca. Alla reception parlano discretamente italiano, per il resto solo qualche parola.

Wir waren vom 22.12.-26.12.21 im Hotel Sonnhof in Neustift. Es war unser 2. Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Hotel , wir hatten uns schon so sehr auf unseren Weihnachtsurlaub bei Familie Pfurtscheller gefreut und waren voller Erwartungen. Was wir erlebt haben, hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen!!!! Aus familiären Gründen sind wir zu Weihnachten immer in einem Hotel, aber so traumhaft schön haben wir es noch nie erlebt!!! Am Heiligen Abend wurde von Familie Pfurtscheller zum Sektempfang geladen und eine Weihnachtsansprache in deutsch ( ich glaube nur für uns) und in englisch (für die anderen Gäste ( sprachen nur englisch) gehalten, danach haben sie das Lied "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht" gesungen und alle Gäste stimmten mit ein, es war ein "Gänsehautgefühl" !!!! Danach hat jeder Gäst ein kleines Geschenk erhalten, haben wir auch noch nie erlebt. Dann begann das Gänge Menü, ein Genuss für nicht nur geschmacklich, auch wie alles angerichtet war, einfach super! Großes Lob und vielen Dank nochmals an die Küche !!! Ein großes Lob natürlich an die " Perle" des Unternehmens, Frau Pfurtscheller, sie hat dem ganzen mit ihrer zauberhaften , sehr geschmackvollen Dekoration das alles perfekt gemacht !! Wir haben in den ganzen 10 Jahren noch n i e ein so wunderschönes Weihnachtsfest in einem Hotel erlebt! Nochmals vielen lieben Dank an Familie Pfurtscheller, dem gesamten Team für die schöne Zeit, die wir in Ihrem Hotel erleben durften! Wir freuen uns schon, wenn wir im Juni wieder ihre Gäste sein dürfen!!! Bleiben Sie alle gesund und so , wie sie alle sind, einfach so lieb und herzlich!! Ich war schon in vielen Hotels im Stubaital, doch dieses toppt alles! Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit unglaublich freundlichem Personal und sehr leckerem Essen. Rundum einfach top! Der Empfang ist sehr herzlich, die Bedienung zuvorkommend, das Frühstück und Abendessen ausgezeichnet. Aber der Wellnessbereich war überragend, selten so ein schöner Wellnessbereich gesehen. Ich war mit meinem Hund, auch das war kein Problem!
