Neuilly-sur-Seine Hotels & Accommodations

During this visit, it was a public transport strike, and only Line 1 and Line 14 were late. Fortunately, the hotel is located in front of the line 1 station, so it is easy to get there. (Gaesunmun station has 4 stations). The beds and quilts in the hotel are comfortable and nice. There are curtains or other glassware facilities to prevent water from splashing out in the shower, which looks good. The breakfast is very good, because there are few people there, so we can eat slowly. Please note that taxes need to be paid at checkout, so please be prepared.

The hotel is situated well to get to all the attractions in Paris, you can get to the underground in a 5 min walk. Nice restaurants and bars near by. If you like cakes, it’ll be right up your street. The rooms are small, we got a room change but while the room was bigger, but the shower had a mind of its own, if you turned up the volume, the water just went everywhere. The hotel bar is not really a bar, its a wall with some drinks on. The dining room is ok for breakfast but it is very small. The breakfast was continental but really good. Staff were very helpful. Biggest problem was rooms were way to hot, A/C only went down to 19C and found it difficult to sleep

We went on a business trip but extended to a weekend so business/couples. This is a pretty hotel, it's quiet, clean, the bed is comfortable, bathroom products excellent, staff are helpful and friendly But... It felt more like a place for a single person doing business. Our room was so small we could hardly pass each other. The cupboard only big enough for one of us to unpack, desk was tiny with a small, uncomfortable stool so not easy for work and only one side of the bed had a table adjacent, so nowhere for water, phone, etc. We looked to upgrade but the larger room only had the advantage of space. The small, sp**** furniture was identical. Returning in the late afternoon for a cup of tea was hopeless. Only one teabag in the room and no milk to be had anywhere in the hotel, not even the usual sachet type in the room. It really is B and B only. Downstairs there is a pretty garden which must be nice in the summer, but the 'lounge' is a corridor reminiscent of an airport lounge. Our conference was nearby so the hotel was convenient and near the metro to go into central Paris but I wouldn't recommend it for a couples stay

I was so happy to find myself in this proper Parisian hotel. I have stayed too often in totally characterless chain hotels. My room was warm and comfortable and charmingly eccentric in it's details. Shower was great - really hot and powerful. It's quiet but very convenient for all the museums and cultural spaces I wanted to get to. I can't recommend it enough - unless you want everything to be brand new. It's old an quirky but good quality and charming.

Was placed here for 4 nights on business in October. Location was near my work appointment but I discovered it took 20-30 min. by metro to get to any other attractions in the city. The staff esp. at the desk were all very courteous and helpful and I think they are the best asset of the hotel. My 3rd floor room was basic; generally clean and I was happy there was not carpet in the room because of the news about bed bugs in Paris. Much of the second and first floor seemed to be under renovation and there was some noise although it wasn’t a big distraction. Room walls very thin; I heard my neighbors’ conversations and phones each day. Only basic amenities: one “large” bath towel, one hand towel, no wash cloth, no robe, plain soap, paper cups, tea products in room not replenished once used. Mattress hard and squeaked - my back hurt after 4 nights. My greatest concern was the black mold on various surfaces in the bathroom and shower. The regular cleaning is not removing this and it could be a health issue for some people.

This was our third stay at this hotel over a period of several years and I posted a very positive review in 2014. Oh, how things have changed here! I begin with the most serious of the offenses and indignities we suffered during our 5-night stay. I was entrapped in the hotel's elevator for a period of 10-15 minutes before the staff registered any response to the emergency alarm bell or my pounding on the elevator door. When a maintenance employee finally arrived, he said that the alarm bell notified the off-premises elevator service company rather than the hotel itself. I knew this was not accurate as I could clearly hear the alarm when I repeatedly pressed it. When I was finally liberated from the elevator and spoke with the on-duty manager, he apologized and said he had been in the ”back office” and had not heard the alarm. The general manager of the hotel also stated that she regretted the ”inconvenience.” I think this event qualified substantially above the level of ”inconvenience” and the manager's proffer of a fractional portion of the substantial Marriott points I had used for my stay was wholly inadequate for the life-threatening emergency that could well have been the case. In addition to this incident, we experienced an appalling indifference and lack of basic service from the staff of the hotel, including (1) absence of a bellman to assist with our bags upon arrival at the hotel by taxi ,(2) failure to deliver an additional luggage rack to the room following request of the bellman, (3) failure of housekeeping staff to make up the room for a period of two hours and after three requests when we inadvertently left the French-language ”do not disturb” sign on our door, (4) failure to respond to three or more requests for towels that had not been left by the housekeeper, and (5) recommendation by the newest and least-experienced junior concierge of an Asian restaurant that displayed a ”closed” sign when we arrived and where no employees spoke English or could provide an English-language menu. (In fact, with regard to the restaurant, the chief concierge told us the next day that she had ”never heard of it.”) We chose this hotel because we had previously had positive experiences, notwithstanding the fact that the rooms are extremely small (even with our upgrade from a ”cubby hole” to a ”shoebox-sized” room). The hotel's common area is beautifully decorated and the rooms are well-appointed despite their size. The problem with this hotel boils down to indifferent management and that is really a shame. It could be so much more!

1) We had trouble with our flight into Paris and were at serious risk of losing an entire day. We had paid in full several months in advance, yet when we sent the hotel a message informing them of our difficulties and anticipated late arrival their response was if we failed to checkin by noon the next day we would lose the reservation. This in spite of completely paying in advance for a week's stay and completing online checkin. What's the purpose of advanced checkin and paying in advance? 2) The hot water failed for a day. Hotels should have onsite engineering or have on contract engineering staff for repairs. 3) The rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping. Now I can understand certain health precautions limiting the cleaning, perhaps every second day. But this isn't the case, the hotel will arrange housekeeping, for an 18 euro fee per cleaning. However, the room does come with a vaccum cleaner and fresh towels are available upon request at the front desk. 4) The rooms are clean, but the hallway rugs are filthy. Otherwise, the establishment is a convenient 15 minute walk to La Defense Esplanade Metro (slightly less convent to La Defense RER). For shopping here is a Intermarche literally next door. It is in a quiet location.

Just returned from a weekend break in Paris, we chose this location based on cost and easy access to the Longchamp race course. First the positives, the area felt very safe and it was easy to walk (3 miles to the arc de triomphe) or get an Uber within minutes. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options and was of good quality. Sadly the overall feeling though is that the guests are a bother to the staff, the staff working over breakfast lack any interest in guests and one individual was damn right rude on a couple of occasions. When I asked if I needed to show my room number or be ticked off a list at breakfast I had ‘what?!’ barked at me then ‘no’ snapped with an eye roll. As all vacant tables were still stacked with dirty plates/cups and food crumbs i again politely asked the same man if a table could be cleared to which he simply glared and ignored me. On other occasions when getting a drink and at checkout there was a lot of waiting at the desk before a staff member approached. Staff who work the evening shift were much more polite & welcoming. Bar prices are steep, you expect to pay a premium in a big city but they really are something else. €4.50 for a can of coke to takeaway, then €65 for a small bottle of water, 2 baileys and a rum & coke. We paid significantly less for drinks in several bistros right in the centre of the city so felt like we were being ripped off here. Lastly we’re covered in bites, 3 out of 4 of us staying, 2 in particular have had our ankles and calf’s ravaged by something. Not pleasant.

Good option for tourists or professionals who would be on short stay and are with limited budget. Rooms are super clean and safety is guaranteed with code-locking system. Aptly located by the River Seine. Will visit it again in the future.

I booked two nights away from the city to travel by taxi with my parents. It was a really neatly remodeled hotel. Although it's really small, it was convenient because of the elevator. The neighborhood where the hotel is located was clean and safe, so I relaxed at night in the morning. The bakery and supermarket are all within 100 meters, so I can eat all the fruits, bread and everything I need. Taxi was also coming soon after calling the app out of the room, so I went around comfortably. There was a subway station about 200 meters away, so public transportation was convenient. It is recommended. I think I'll book again.
