Hotel Bo Rivage

Arrived to a very warm welcome, room was great. Clean bed linen and towels and fabulous shower. It was a very warm day but outside space was lovely. We are in the Aurora restaurant and our food and beers were fantastic. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. Ideal stop over when travelling to and from UK

Horrendous experience!! Rude and dishonest staff... Arrived at the hotel at 2130 after a 10hr drive from Switzerland, had two young children with me and temp was 32degree so the first thing we wanted was a shower, we discovered after 10pm after the reception has closed that there is no hot water, we tried to ring the emergency number in reception but it went straight to voicemail, there was no one available to help or no one to speak me, made us feel very unsafe, what would would happen if there was a fire or a serious problem? No one available to help. Next morning and after a sleepless sticky night the guy at the reception was so rude and unhelpful, he said boiler broke down last evening and there's nothing he could do about, no apology no compassion no customer service skills, he said some engineer will come and look at the boiler at 10am which was our departure time.and what makes this worse is that the receptionist who.l checked us in at 2130 didn't inform us if the problem even though he was aware of it, We waited till 0850 then left as we needed to find another place to take a shower, drive to calais and catch the ferry back to the uk When I complained through booking dot con, the hotel lied to them and said the at the issue was resolved 2 hours before our check out time, which was a complete lie! Luckily I managed to get some refund from the booking website, but I will never stay here again.

Madame went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable including a free upgrade to a gorgeous room with terrace and a delicious breakfast to suit all continental tastes. Would give six stars if I could

Eden Ardenne is in such a pretty setting and it is very quiet and restful. They served a very nice breakfast as well.

The property is cared for and clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s easy to find and the restaurant is very good. I’m not sure how you would get here without a car. There is a train station in town, but unsure of taxi service.

Beautiful location, wonderful, helpful staff.

Friendly staff, nice small hotel, no luxury, but functional - good for an overnight stay. Decent breakfast, nice room, even better bathroom, clean. Free on-site parking, very friendly and helpful lady at the reception. The only remark is really slow wifi.

Good hotel. Everything was clean and nice. I had a room with the look on the lake was very nice. I just didn't like the beds because they where with 2 matresses and you always fall in the gap.
