Villa Flamenca

Fabulous Holiday NYE. Stayed for a week from 29 Dec. Hotel is lovely. About ten minute walk to Balcon. Staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed bed n breakfast. Breakfast is plentiful. Hot breakfast tad cool but there's a microwave. Egg chef great. Made lovely omelette. Pool area is good. Plenty of beds. None reserved. Pool too cold to swim in whilst we were there but it was hot enough to sit out. Weather was bit chillier at the evening. Needed a jacket or scarf but restaurants had patio heaters. NYE was fabulous on the balcon. Amazing night. Restaurants booked up so not much choice left for us. Managed to reserve a table in plaza espania. Brilliant holiday. Couldn't fault the hotel and would stay again. Thank you Villla Flamenca.

I was a regular visitor from 2006 to 2017 when the hotel underwent some major updating an this was my first opportunity to revisit. Not disappointed at all. maria at checkin could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a full selection of hot and cold plates, cereals etc. Stayed in a Flamenca room which was very relaxing. Best nights sleep in a hotel in a long time. Even had Irish TV stations on the TV - now thats a first. Even though it was December I did swim in the pool made ever so easy by the thought of a hot outdoor jacuzzi to follow which was available up to 8pm. When checking out I had the use of a baggge room and a courtesy room to shower in late in the day.

An amazing boutique type hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left service of all staff was excellent. Our room was relatively small and the balcony was a great addition. The beds were so comfortable and the room was very quiet. There was a good quality breakfast served and a variety to suit all tastes. Everywhere was immaculately clean. The pool area was sparkling and it was lovely to have the choice of a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Food in the restaurant was of high quality and the Happy Hour was good fun too. Great quality, wonderful service and value for money. Thank you to all staff for making our holiday so enjoyable.

My wife and I have just returned from two weeks at the Villa Flamenca and we had a great time.The hotel is spotlessly clean and all the staff were extremely friendly and courteous.We would like to give a special mention to Sergio who is an absolute credit to your staff and your brand.He is immaculate in his appearance and the service and politeness with which he carried out his duties was first class and always with a welcoming smile.Please pass our appreciation to him for looking after us so well. There was a plentiful supply and choice of food at breakfast and the staff were always very friendly and efficient. We can highly recommend the hotel a la carte menu and Luques bar menu. Happy hour is a great feature of the hotel as it creates a friendly atmosphere and is excellent value and is very popular with guests of the hotel and locals. Given our experience of the Villa Flamenca we intend to return however, we will look to book a larger room as we found the room to be too small for comfort for a two week stay , upgrading to a larger room on the Jet2 holidays website was not an option so we will book directly with the hotel for our next visit. Our bedroom was cleaned daily to a high standard and we found the bed very comfortable. All in all we highly recommend the hotel and intend to return given our recent stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable night’s sleep. The nearby construction sight was noisy after 8am and as there was plenty to do locally and trips out it did not affect our stay. Good food both at breakfast and for dinner in the restaurant. They could accommodate my dietary requirements with ease. Lovely pool area and everything was clean and well looked after. Wish the bar was open later or that the reception staff could have served us after 11 as we developed a taste of a brandy nightcap which had to be ordered before 11! Walkable location to town and to a lovely beach although be warned that the walk up from the beach is steep. Would definitely stay again if visiting Nerja. One hour from Malaga airport was not too onerous. Very lovely part of Spain.

Nice hotel, very professional courteous staff couldn't do too much to help with useful local advice. Excellent in house restaurant, I went through the menu during my 10 day stay. Lovely chats with other visitors and local resident expats during happy hour on the terrace. Breakfasts also contained anything you could wish for.

7th time in this hotel(8th time in Nerja since 1991).Like the fact the hotel is B andB, with options to eat in the hotel should you wish.Hotel is situated a short distance from Nerja centre and we prefer this.There are no negatives I have come across

Midsize hotel with 4 floors. Situated 15 mins walk from the seafront and about the same from Old Town. The walk to the beach is downhill and ok in that direction but would be very challenging coming back for some age groups. The walk to Old Town and back is much easier. The hotel itself is beautiful. Spotlessly clean with lovely decor. A nice size bar with an extensive bar menu very efficiently run by Sergio. There is also an a la carte restaurant. Breakfast is superb with ample choice and caters for all. Rooms are a little on the small side but very clean and tidy. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area with supermarkets and a few small bars close by. I would definitely recommend the hotel and it's service levels and would be happy to return

Good all round hotel. Stayed B&B and the buffet was excellent, taking in all possible tastes. All staff were efficient, but also friendly and helpful. Situated on a quiet side road, but easily accessible to shops, restaurants and beach/seafront. Only slight downside is that it is downhill to the coast, therefore back up for the return. 😳 Really wasn’t a problem though as only a 10 minute journey approx. Good swimming pool + jacuzzi etc. All in all it is well recommended.
