Super Hotel Jr Nara Ekimae Sanjo Dori

This is by far the best hotel of this caliber we've stayed in (we haven't stayed in many, only 5, but still). The room had all the standard amenities you'd expect (plus natural soap and shampoo, which was a nice touch). What really surprised me was the option to choose your own pillow from about 7 or 8 different types near the reception. The breakfast was typical Japanese fare, not ideal for a vegetarian, but they did have 100% juice from a dispenser. There was a happy hour from 5 to 9 with a wide selection of unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. A huge plus is its location directly opposite the JR station – super convenient with luggage. You can enjoy breakfast while watching busy Japanese commuters and arriving tourists. There's also a supermarket with ready-made food right by the station. All in all, it's an excellent hotel; it's a shame we only stayed for one night.

I chose this hotel because it's close to the station. The room was spacious and the breakfast was delicious. This was my second stay, and I'd definitely like to come back again.

The service was excellent; the staff spoke Chinese. The front desk offered a variety of complimentary toiletries and small wellness products to help relieve fatigue. The room was clean and hygienic, and there's a bus terminal right outside that goes in all directions, which is super convenient.

A wonderful location in the heart of Nara. The metro, train station, and parks are just a stone's throw away. We were greeted warmly and checked in quickly. We absolutely loved the pillow menu and the "cosmetic bar" at reception (the face masks were a special treat!). The breakfasts could have been more interesting and varied, but that didn't spoil the overall experience. Nara is magnificent, and this hotel helped us fully appreciate its beauty. We'd love to return!

Facilities: Excellent. The room was small but had everything you needed. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: Excellent. It's right across from Nara Station, only a 15-minute walk to the Nara scenic area. Service: Excellent. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.
