Hotel Colombo

This is an economy hotel located about a 10-minute walk from Napoli Centrale station. The surrounding area has fishmongers in the morning and can be a bit lively at night, so if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options. The room was a bit dated, but it was kept very clean, so there were no issues there. The cleaning on the second day was also perfectly fine. There are many restaurants nearby, and for groceries, there's a CONAD supermarket next to or a short distance from the Naples station. The front desk staff were kind and friendly. If the price is right, I'd definitely like to stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Napoli Centrale train station and just a stone's throw from Umberto I Gallery. However, the facilities are quite old. My single room was indeed small, with no space to open my suitcase. On the plus side, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There are also plenty of cheap and delicious restaurants nearby!

Great welcome, excellent staff, and a fantastic location very close to the train station. HOWEVER, the toilet flush was weak, there was no soundproofing from outside or inside noise, and the cleaning staff came by at 8:30 AM.
