We stayed at Avant Mar with our two daughters (ages 21 and 18). The hotel is absolutely beautiful-modern yet serene, with a calming, Zen-like atmosphere. The flowers, architecture, and thoughtfully designed spaces made it such a relaxing place to unwind, especially by the lush lounges by the pool. We especially appreciated the heated adults only pool in the spa area. While we love children, the main pool occasionally became a bit noisy with kids playing, which sometimes interrupted the peaceful atmosphere we were hoping for. For couples or families with older children seeking a quieter experience, an older age minimum might enhance the ambiance, like making it a 16 year and older minimum. We also spent time relaxing at the beach lounge chairs, which we really enjoyed. Although the beach is public, Avant Mar has its own designated area with lounge chairs, and being able to order food and drinks directly to the beach was a fantastic touch. The beach itself is lovely, though the area around the lounge chairs could benefit from a bit more cleaning and raking. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious every morning. I highly recommend the avocado toast with scrambled eggs! We also ordered lunch by the beach, and service and the sandwiches were terrific. We had two rooms. The rooms are beautiful and modern, and we loved the Aesop toiletry products. My only downside was that the rooms felt quite small with very limited storage and unpacking space. There were few places to organize clothing, so thankfully I had packing cubes and mostly lived out of them on the floor during our stay. My daughters even had to store their luggage on the terrace due to limited space. That said, you really aren’t spending much time in the room because the location is outstanding. Avant Mar’s location was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We could easily walk into town within minutes to enjoy incredible restaurants, vibrant shopping, and fun nightlife. Most importantly, the staff was exceptional—attentive, courteous, friendly, and incredibly responsive. They helped with reservations, arranged taxis, answered every question, and truly made our stay seamless. Their hospitality could not have been better. We are so happy we chose Avant Mar and had a wonderful stay. We would absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a stylish, relaxing hotel in an unbeatable location.

This hotel is rated five star for a reason. The staff, including people who take care of your room are all exceptional. Breakfast is amazing and the staff in the breakfast room are wonderful. The walk to town is only 4 to 5 minutes so it gives you the opportunity to spend a lot of time just walking and and enjoying your time on the island

While the property itself is beautiful, and the staff are wonderful, the overall experience and rooms are not worthy of the price point (€2k+ euros a night in our case for the executive suite with plunge pool room). The biggest issue was the housekeeping. There was not a single day where coffee pods or coffee mugs were replaced. Not once - neither during housekeeping or turn down. If you are charging €2k a night for a room, guests shouldn’t have to call the front desk every single time they need coffee pods or clean cups. Dirty dishes were rarely cleared and when they were, they weren’t replaced. In the most egregious case, a dirty glass was placed back upside down as if it were clean in the bathroom. But you could tell it was dirty as there were still chapstick lip markings on the cup. We called multiple times to request new cups, coffee pods, etc and never once did the hotel pick up on the fact that housekeeping was missing these things. I’m not sure if it’s not part of their standard procedures but it certainly should be. Otherwise, while the rooms are very nicely designed, they do lack storage and even the larger, more expensive rooms are compact. I was also surprised that the plunge pools were not heated despite how modern the hotel is. I know this is more of an American standard but again, at this price point I would expect that. On the positives, the property is beautiful with great views, a wonderful beach setup that is attended to by the pool / restaurant staff, great food and beverage options, and very friendly and attentive staff. Unless money is no object, I really can’t recommend this property at this price point given the rooms and housekeeping situation (though the latter is addressable). I’d rather stay somewhere with less amenities and that is less aesthetic but is worth the price if returning to Paros.

We had a perfect stay at Avant Mar and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paros. The location is one of the hotel's biggest advantages. It's just a short walk from the center of Naoussa, where you'll find plenty of bars, shops, and traditional tavernas, while Piperi Beach is only a few steps away. The hotel is also conveniently located about a 30-minute drive from Parikia, making it easy to explore other parts of the island. If you're looking for extra comfort and space, I highly recommend booking one of the Infinity Suites. For travelers who don't mind a smaller room and are looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Superior Room is an excellent choice. Regardless of the room category, you'll still be able to enjoy all the hotel's facilities, including the beautiful pool area and beach access. If you're planning to visit the villages and beaches around Paros, renting a car is highly recommended, as it allows you to explore the island at your own pace. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we had a truly wonderful stay. We would definitely return.

The only truly positive aspects of our stay at Avant Mar were the exceptional restaurant staff — warm, attentive, and genuinely outstanding — and the Aesop toiletries in the room. Sadly, almost everything else fell far below what one would expect at €1380 per night. The room was shockingly small, more akin to a cruise ship bathroom, offering no comfort or space. We had to keep our clothes and luggage on the balcony — completely unacceptable at this price point. Housekeeping was intrusive and poorly managed. Our group had four rooms, yet only one was allowed a late checkout. Despite “Do Not Disturb” signs and an 11:00am checkout, housekeeping knocked from 10:15am, making for a rushed, unpleasant departure. The spa was equally disappointing. With only one massage therapist, just 2 of our 8 guests could book treatments — hardly fitting for a hotel of this calibre. When we politely shared our concerns with the front desk, the response was indifferent at best. The setting was also dismal. The beach was littered with trash, and on arrival we were greeted by a large pile of garbage and a portable toilet right beside the hotel entrance — an appalling first impression for a so-called luxury property. For such high rates, the overall experience was profoundly underwhelming. Beyond the excellent restaurant team and quality toiletries, there was very little to justify the hotel’s price or reputation. We stayed here 9/15-9/17.

Beautiful hotel set on a beach about ten minutes walk from the centre of Naousa. On arrival, we were welcomed by friendly staff and were given a welcome drink as well as a tour of the hotel. Our room was lovely but as previous reviews state, there is not enough storage space. Whoever designed the room, really didn’t take this into consideration as they could have utilized the space much better. However, the bed was super comfortable and the Aesop’s toiletries were beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and staff very attentive. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and very clean.
