Nantong Urban Agriculture Park Family Hotel

This hotel is super close to Nantong Safari Park, about a 10-minute drive. We arrived quite late, and the front desk was thoughtful enough to call us and let us know the west gate was closed, arranging for security to open the main gate for us once we arrived. The room facilities are great and very new. We booked a family room, which was really spacious, and our kids loved sleeping on the bunk beds – they were super comfortable. The hotel also has a huge indoor slide in the common area that's free to use, which kept the kids thoroughly entertained. The only downside is that the road for roadside parking isn't very wide, making it a bit inconvenient, and we were worried about our car getting scratched.

You have to assemble the fence yourself, there's no service at all, and the cleanliness is questionable. I really don't recommend this place. The only good thing was the front desk lady.

This was a really bad stay. We took our child to the zoo again and chose the lakeside villa family room here. First, upon check-in, we were told there was no breakfast. Then, we were told that if one person showered, the next person would have to wait a while. Puzzled, we went to our villa room, only to find it had one of those small, cylindrical water heaters. The water capacity was small, meaning we couldn't shower back-to-back. So, I had to shower with my child first, just in case we ran out of hot water halfway through. But during the shower, I discovered the shower hose was broken and leaking badly, and the water wasn't hot. My daughter and I quickly finished, absolutely freezing. We were shivering! What's more, the air conditioning in the room never warmed up, even after being on all night. We set it to 28 degrees and used two duvets, but still woke up freezing. In all our years of staying in hotels, this is the first time we've encountered such poor facilities. The TV remote didn't work either. And look at the potted plants in the room – they were so wilted, why even bother keeping them? If they're not going to be taken care of, it would be better not to have them at all. The cleanliness was also very mediocre. So, what justifies paying over 500 without even breakfast, for such a terrible experience? Where's the value? Oh, right, they gave us tickets to feed pigeons at the 'pet park'. Are a few rabbits and pigeons really considered a pet park? And all the facilities inside require extra payment. Extremely low value for money. The facilities are poor, and the overall experience was terrible.

Which kid could possibly resist a hotel that opens right into a zero-gravity playground? The hotel is located within a resort complex, offering plenty of activities (for an additional fee). The room was spacious and clean. I was a bit worried about potential noise from kids playing outside, but thankfully, we didn't experience any during our stay. The heating was excellent, even in the play area, so I didn't have to worry about my child getting cold.

A bit pricey for a stay on May 3rd, especially the breakfast which had limited options and wasn't great quality. However, the family room was quite good.
