However, after directly contacting the Nanning Hotel's marketing department by phone, they graciously extended our reservation to the 24th. Additionally, a couple in our group had to leave Nanning early due to an emergency and needed to check out. "The hotel is within walking distance of several large shopping malls, so even during the Chinese New Year, you don't have to worry about finding food, as most restaurants in the malls stay open. The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station right outside. Taxis aren't expensive, and it's not too far to places like Qingxiu Mountain or the old city for some rice noodles. The room is pretty standard for a business trip – nothing outstanding, nothing terrible. However, the elevators can be a pain during peak hours. This is because they share the same set of elevators with a restaurant open to the public, compounded by the high occupancy during the Chinese New Year holiday. In the mornings, you might have to wait for several lifts just to get downstairs. The hotel's fitness facilities seem to be outsourced, but the swimming pool was wonderfully warm in winter, perfect for a swim – definitely a plus point! I was there for the 'Old Friend Noodles' (Lao You Fen), so I didn't get to try the hotel's dining options."

The rooms are clean, spacious, and bright, with full amenities. The service is great, and the room rates are affordable. It's on a high floor, offering views of the high-speed rail station, and it's very close to Nanning East Station. You can take Airport Bus Line 4 directly to Wuxu Airport from across the street, making transportation incredibly convenient. Very satisfied!"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location. It's incredibly convenient for transportation, just a two to three-minute walk from the subway station, allowing easy access to all corners of the city. If you choose to take a taxi to Nanning East High-Speed Rail Station, it's only a short ten-minute ride, saving a significant amount of travel time. The staff's service attitude is outstanding, especially Moon, Pink, Joyce, and Freya at the service center. They are not only warm and attentive but also patiently and thoroughly answer all inquiries. They enthusiastically recommend local dining and entertainment options, making every guest feel genuinely cared for. This trip, due to my schedule, I needed a slightly later checkout, and they graciously offered a complimentary late checkout until 4 PM, which was very accommodating. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, featuring a swimming pool and a well-equipped gym with plenty of exercise machines. The breakfast and Chinese restaurants are located on the 6th floor. Breakfast is quite varied, offering both Western and Chinese options to suit different tastes. The hotel is right next to the large shopping mall, Hangyang City, and Mixc City is also not far, making dining, shopping, and strolling very convenient. What's more, you can directly access the second floor of the mall from the hotel lobby, which is incredibly handy. As night falls, the surrounding night view of the hotel is absolutely stunning, like a captivating painting. This prime location and excellent service make this hotel an ideal choice for both business travelers and leisure tourists."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, with a subway entrance right outside. The airport shuttle stop is only dozens of meters away, and several major shopping malls in Nanning are nearby. In the evenings, you can explore the Zhongshan Road Night Market or the Yongjiang River, making it incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, transportation, and shopping! Although it's an older hotel, the recent renovations keep it clean and tidy. The hotel breakfast offers a good variety! I forgot to take photos, so I'll just use a picture of some sweet soup instead!"

There's also the famous Qijiajie Lemon Duck, a Nanning culinary landmark, nearby, making it incredibly convenient for foodies. Getting to various attractions is a breeze. The hotel rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The service is warm and attentive, and the complimentary laundry service is a huge plus! The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. My family and friends and I stayed for two nights and felt completely at home. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Nanning!"

"We stayed during the May Day holiday, and the room was almost full. The front desk upgraded us to a suite. The stay experience was particularly good. We had a good rest after 4 days of fun and were not tired at all. Although it is not a new hotel, it is well maintained overall, with details in place. The shower head is very big, and it heats up as soon as it is turned on, and the water is unobstructed, which is much better than many new hotels. The service is also very good. All the staff are very discerning. They greet each other as soon as they meet and help with things, especially Xiao Lu at the front desk. He pays attention to our needs and experience, and is very thoughtful. The service is warm and considerate. The hotel is located on the edge of Nanhu Lake, just across the road, and it is also close to Langxi Night Market, which can be reached by riding a small electric donkey. The morning tea on the 48th floor is also a hot spot in the city. It is made to order and is a restaurant worth a special visit. I will stay at Mingdu again when I go to Nanning next time."

"**Facilities:** The room was spacious and the facilities were relatively new. The bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation. South-facing rooms offered better natural light, though some had a column. My main gripe was the air conditioner blowing directly onto the bed/head. Also, there's a charge for using the laundry room. **Cleanliness:** Cleanliness was acceptable, though I did spot some mosquitoes. Mosquito repellent was provided, but it didn't seem very effective. **Location:** The surrounding area was convenient for shopping, and it was also easy to order food delivery."

"It's literally the nicest hotel in the area despite being expensive. Our room overlooked the sunset and the view was beautiful. The front desk staff efficiently checked me in, making me feel right at home.Special thanks to Jackson, who made the stay perfect and was helpful every step of the way! I'll definitely come back. Perhaps the most pleasing aspect was the hotel's quiet atmosphere that allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There were no sounds of traffic or construction to distract or annoy us, and that was a pleasant change from our normal routine. We are happy to recommend to everyone that they book their next stay for rest and recreation at the Nan Ning Shangri-La Hotel. By the way, the hotel's location is very convenient as it is central to shopping, restaurants and recreation venues. Aurelia, Jessica, Eileen, Doris, and Iris are great."

"There are paid upgrade options available at the front desk for a room with an amazing view of the Yongjiang river. The upgrade price is excellent! If you need any assistant, don't hesitate to contact manager Mrs. Xia (Employee ID 962), she provides outstanding service. If you would like to experience local life in Naning and try authentic local food with local people, take a walk along Qixing Rd (七星路) behind the hotel. You'll find a variety of businesses there, like school, hospital, restaurant, fast food. I recommend Xianchi Bazhen Fenmian (仙池八珍粉面) for Laoyou Noodle (老友粉)."
