The environment of the B&B is very good, the decoration is very new, the facilities are very complete, including a playground, chess and card room, tea room, and coffee shop, and the service is also very good. The main thing is that there is an all-in-one washer and dryer in the room, which is really convenient for outing. In the evening, we, the older one and the younger one, ate directly at the Chinese restaurant of the B&B. The food was very good and not expensive. The prices were similar to those outside. The service was very good. Attentive and considerate! I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures of the meals. The store manager also gave us a discount. It was so considerate. I highly recommend it!

We planned to spend one night at the Lotus Land but we ended up spending 3 nights instead. The hotel is very well located, very clean and the staff was great! We had so many cloths to be washed and once asked the girl from reception some help, she took us to their laundry room and helped us out washing our cloths without any extra fee. I strongly suggest you to stay at this hotel if u plan to visit the Tulou cluster in Fujian.

Fantastic hotel for seeing the Tulous in Fujian. Pricey, but worth it. Very charming with fantastic rooms. Just the walk along the stream to the hotel is an experience on its own. The little stream running past the hotel made it very peaceful. All inclusive (except for lunch) package designed for people to go explore the Tulous during the day, food was delicious in a great restaurant over looking the stream. The restaurant is semi open and the hotel was very attentive with insect repellent incense underneath the dining tables and insect repellent readily available for guests. At night the hotel took us up the river (15min walk) to go see fireflies at a spot over a bridge, amazing experience. They also set up a tent near just next to the bridge with drinks and cut fresh fruit available. The hotel is the epitome of what modern China should be like. It perfectly blends the old (restored old buildings) into new modern, tasteful functional buildings. Staff were attentive, quick to respond. Highly recommend.

The place is very clean, location is perfect, people are very nice. The next 2 scenic areas are quite near. I cold stay here for a couple of days. I can point only one thing for improvement - since you let to book on international site, please, at least menu in English!

I am satisfied with the room lighting, toiletries, bedding comfort, and accommodation safety; it is really good! It is recommended to book on a book, much better than expected. I like the style of the store and the room very much. The store lady is very gentle and the service is very warm. She took the initiative to help us upgrade the room type. There are not many people living in it. It is very quiet and it is very good to rest at night. I highly recommend everyone to experience it!

It was a very happy trip. This day's itinerary was to go to Tianluokeng Tulou first, and then to Taxia Village. Xiaojiu Fang is in the middle of Taxia Village and directly opposite Xueying Bridge. This trip happened to be two days before the typhoon arrived. We entered the scenic spot early in the morning, but the scenic spot was closed at noon. Xiaojiufang is a brewing workshop. The first floor is for brewing and storing wine. There are only two guest rooms on the second floor. We were the only family that day, so it was really reserved. The landlady's service was excellent. She stayed with us all day. She arranged to check in first when we arrived at the store at noon. At two o'clock in the afternoon, she took her family to a pool upstream of the creek to swim. We couldn't swim, so we started fishing in the creek. It was difficult to catch it, but later I found a trick. I swept the fishing net against the rock wall, and there must be fish in the net. We played until about four o'clock in the afternoon, and then we came back for a rest, drank tea, and chatted. The landlady told us about the history of Taxia Village and the origin of Xueying Bridge. Then we followed her guidance and went to the nearby earth buildings. Here The earth buildings are all inhabited by residents. They have no commercial atmosphere and are all original. It feels much better than four dishes and one soup (Yuchang Building is also good) After walking around for a while, I ordered a salt-baked local chicken from the restaurant opposite. My aunt sent it to the B&B. After eating, I took my baby to the unoccupied earth building opposite to ”explore”. We walked around the village again and it was great when we got back. When it got dark, the proprietress took us to see the fireflies with her little chai. The child held the fireflies in her hands and was so happy. She can remember this moment for a lifetime. After watching the fireflies, I returned to Xiaojiufang and had two drinks with the sound of the stream. If the typhoon hadn't arrived the next day, I really wanted to stay here for two more days and enjoy this pleasant pastoral life... A small episode, we didn't even notice that the child's cell phone fell in the room, but the landlady found it and contacted us, and had it delivered to our home, and she even took the initiative to pay for the delivery fee. Only a five-star hotel can provide such a service. It is a must-order. Like👍🏻 In summary, Taxia Village is very small, Xiaojiu Fang is also very small, the B&B is clean inside and out, the drinks in the refrigerator are free, and the landlady also makes tea for you. It’s very pleasant when there are few tourists. I stayed in a B&B and had a full tour guide. This trip was really worth it!

It's not an easy place to reach if, like us, you are a family of 6 with a baby and a lorry load of luggage. We arrived by high speed train at Nanjing (Fujian) and found a taxi to take us to the hotel (one way ¥260, negotiated from ¥300). The journey was around 2 hours on winding and slow roads (on the way back we took the high speed motorway which reduced the journey time to around an hour). The hotel is in a rural location off the main tourist areas. We arrived later than expected but we were able to get dinner. The food is exceptional. The chicken in particular is delicious. We booked a family room with a slide. Our children would of happily spent the entire stay in the room playing on the slide. I've stayed in many 5 star branded hotels and yet this guesthouse has so many little extras, gadgets and technology than most. The password keypad door handle is perhaps the most over complicated means of opening a door, but I applaud the dedication to style and design. The toilet has a Japanese style multifunction thing going on. It took me a long time to figure out how to flush it. The toilet seat lifts when you open the door! The TV is a large projection on the wall. Not being Chinese I struggled to figure how to get regular TV channels. Everything I found required pay to view. It was a nice and clear projection however, and if able to understand the programming it would be amazing. We enjoyed 2 days touring various Tulou's. There are many within a short drive, though behind the hotel there is a small village with Tulou and earth buildings that make for a lovely walk. Overall, a great guesthouse with trendy vibes and family friendly facilities. Very comfortable stay.

I really like the feeling here, the first feeling is really cool. This is a century-old earthen building, and several grandparents live on the first floor. The room has been designed to preserve the texture of the old house without being too rough, especially the tea room, which is very useful to me. Brief summary: This is a living work of art.

The most satisfying accommodation experience during this trip to Fujian! The boss and the landlady are very polite, and they invite you to have tea on the first floor when you come in and out. Perhaps because there is a research team on the second floor to receive us, and seeing that we are traveling as a family, we were upgraded to a family room on the third floor with a small loft. The children were very happy! It feels like I’ve made a lot of money! Thank you boss lady! I found a car guide in the village to see Tianluokeng and take me to Nanjing Station. I was introduced that the owner of this company had been a tour guide for a long time and later started a business. He was very discerning and developed the earth building as an inn very early. It is said that this earth building is 200 years old. The renovation and decoration are very good, maintaining the style and characteristics of the earth building, and meeting modern sanitary needs. During the two days we stayed, there were showers and sunny days, and the scenery in the building was beautiful. Compared with other B&B environments seen in Tianluokeng, Qingde Building is definitely the first choice for experiencing earth buildings! The inn is located a little further inside Taxia Village. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the village entrance. The inn has attached catering, and you can ask the landlady to prepare meals at affordable prices!

Perfect location right at the foot of the stair case up to the viewpoint of Tianluokeng Tulou cluster so you and walk up to view the 4 dishes and 1 soup before the tourists come. It also sits next to the tulou, easy stroll in the morning. The owner can arrange taxi to pick up and drop off from nearby station (I arrived at Nanjing station), and same driver drive me for the whole day next day to visit all the main attractions. Food is ok, cooked by the owner, a bit over price dinner menu, but vegetable is home grown, fresh. Owner speak little language, need to use a lot of google translate. Room is basic, toilet is ok, good hot water running strongly. Overall I had a pleasant stay.
