The room had a lovely Rococo vibe – perfect for photos! The lobby was also beautiful. We received welcome fruits upon arrival, and the butler service was very attentive. The breakfast tasted great too! 🥰👍🏼

This was my second stay at Xinjingli, a convenient stopover during my May Day holiday trip. The hotel has a great style and ambiance, and the service is also quite good. It's especially well-suited for trips with girlfriends or family with kids. Next time, I'll make sure to check out the oil paintings.

The environment is great, and the staff are all very friendly. My favorite was the Nanjing specialty duck blood vermicelli soup at breakfast; it left a lasting impression. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Nanjing.

The environment is fantastic and very photogenic. They offer complimentary snacks on the 11th floor at 9 PM, which is a really nice touch. It's especially great for taking pictures.

If a friend asked me to recommend a hotel in Nanjing, Nanjing New Jiali Hotel would be the first one to pop into my mind, and the one I'd recommend. As an SLH property, it's understated yet luxurious, charming and tasteful. The front desk staff were professional during check-in and thoughtfully upgraded my room. My laundry was even taken in the afternoon and returned clean by evening, which was a definite bonus. This is my fourth time staying at New Jiali, and each time it feels like a home away from home. The lighting, decor, furniture, and bedding comfort are all excellent. The only change was that the complimentary water switched from Baishui Mountain to a different brand, but it's not a big issue. I'll definitely choose New Jiali again next time I'm in Nanjing.

You can tell the hotel is aiming for a five-star experience, but there's still significant room for improvement. First, the positives: It's very close to Nanjing South Railway Station, just three stops on Metro Line 3, which is generally less crowded, even during holidays. Yuhuatai Scenic Area seems to be right next door. The service was decent. They proactively asked about my stay, provided fruit and a small pastry at check-in, and gave a small gift (I think it was lotion) after check-out. The breakfast was more extensive than what you'd find at a chain hotel. The duck blood vermicelli soup even had more ingredients than the one at the Ritz. Now for areas that could use some work: The lighting in the elevator lobby and corridors was dim and uninspired, seemingly just a single overhead light, giving off a cold feeling. Coupled with a strange odor, the overall sensory experience wasn't great. Inside the room, the mineral water bottles had condensation, and when I picked them up, I realized both had been opened. However, I was using them for coffee anyway, so it wasn't a big deal for me. Eliza Garden was only open in the evening, but it was similarly dim. Each table had a real burning candle, so perhaps they were trying to create an ambiance? But it was genuinely too dark. The snacks were mediocre, and the cocktail I ordered had no discernible alcohol flavor. Some of the room facilities showing their age is a common complaint, and frankly, that's subjective. The hotel isn't expensive, so considering the price, I think it's acceptable, which is why I still gave it a full five stars.

Ambiance: The decor is exquisite, and the public areas are quite luxurious. However, room maintenance could be better, as there was some plaster flaking off the wall outside the bathroom. Cleanliness: The bathtub, vanity, and nightstands had a light layer of dust, but the bedding was very clean. Service: The front desk staff (specifically the young lady) was very responsive. Requests for items were handled promptly, and check-in and check-out were also quite welcoming. Facilities: The minibar had three bottles of water, there was a capsule coffee machine, and other facilities were also well-equipped. The location is also quite convenient; it's not far from the subway, and getting to attractions by taxi is quick.

Having stayed at hundreds of hotels both domestically and internationally, this one in Nanjing was a delightful surprise. Both the facilities and services were top-notch, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely be back when I visit Nanjing again. The lobby is grand and tasteful, making me feel secure and perfectly matching my preferred style. The room was spacious, with unusually high ceilings and a rare suspended ceiling – you could practically play badminton in there! Opening the curtains made the entire room bright and airy. The 1.35-meter twin beds, mattress, pillows, and duvet were all incredibly comfortable, satisfying even someone like me who sometimes struggles with sleep. What I loved most was that the twin room came with dual sinks and a bathtub, which is quite uncommon. The bathtub was deep and perfect for a good soak; although a little short, a slight bend of the knees didn't detract from the comfortable bathing experience, and the water temperature was exactly to my liking. Bath salts, a Laifen hairdryer, capsule coffee, complimentary drinks, and free laundry service with no item limit were all provided... There's also a parking lot, a Freshippo supermarket downstairs, and a mall. The soup dumplings at the entrance were delicious, but I simply didn't have time to try the rice porridge hotpot. The location is convenient, not far from the subway. The front desk staff, doormen, and housekeeping were all incredibly friendly and provided attentive service. In the evenings, they even delivered special Yuhua tea to the room. I heard the restaurant's food is also excellent, with a fantastic 50% discount for guests on weekdays, and online reviews rave about it. However, because I had already planned out all my must-try restaurants, I didn't get a chance to sample the hotel's dining – something to look forward to next time. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves a good bath, is particular about beds and bedding, seeks a quiet place to rest, frequently needs laundry service, or appreciates European-style decor.

The hotel service was really thoughtful; they even helped deliver my takeout and flowers directly to my room. The environment is beautiful, and the room was very clean. The food at that Nanjing restaurant was also quite delicious. I'll definitely come again next time! 😋

The hotel was great! The room was very clean, and the location was excellent, right next to Zijinhua Square, which made dining out very convenient. The lady at the front desk was so helpful. They even helped me wash my dirty clothes, and gave me a small gift when I checked out. If I ever come back to Nanjing, I'll definitely stay here again!
