Hilton Nanjing Niushoushan Reviews

On Monday, May 4th, around 2 PM, it was scorching hot, so we decided to head back. We contacted the hotel from where the shuttle dropped us off. The shuttle quickly picked us up and took us back to the Hilton Nanjing Niushoushan. This time, I took a closer look at the hotel. It's not very tall, about 6-7 stories, and laid out in an 'X' shape, with the lobby on the 4th floor at the intersection. The four 'arms' house guest rooms and meeting rooms. We stayed in Building 6, which was the furthest from the lobby. We passed the lobby bar, the culinary restaurant, and the children's play area. The pool is on the 2nd floor. The overall decor of the public areas is very lush and green, resembling vast patches of moss and inverted tree canopies, giving a sense of tranquility and serenity. Every day at noon, there's also a 15-minute sound healing experience with singing bowls (in front of the lobby bar). It's a really great hotel. The bathroom area in the guest room is quite spacious, with a large bathtub (though the shower area is a bit small). There's also a big balcony overlooking a lush green lawn, which is very relaxing.

We booked a package that included a vegetarian dinner, breakfast, and attraction tickets. Upon check-in, we were upgraded directly to the executive floor. Although we arrived a bit late and missed happy hour, the vegetarian dinner was absolutely delicious! Even though there was only one set menu (Option A), my child and I thoroughly enjoyed it – the taste certainly lived up to its reputation! 👍 Back in the room, my child immediately noticed that the 'push' and 'pull' labels on the bathroom door handle were reversed. Honestly, this kind of small detail shouldn't be present in a Hilton. Hopefully, they can get someone to fix it quickly. Other than that, we were very happy with the room. Even though it was a connecting room, we weren't disturbed at all. The room had a balcony, which was perfect for drying the kids' clothes after washing. Breakfast offered a wide variety of authentic Nanjing local delicacies, which was fantastic! We're usually hesitant to try certain street foods with the kids outside, so having them prepared safely and deliciously at the hotel was a big plus. The taste was impeccable. Since we had a flight to catch, we didn't get a chance to experience the pool or other recreational facilities – we'll save that for next time. We only had enough time in the morning to take the 9 AM shuttle bus to the attractions. A big thank you to our concierge, Helen. Honestly, having stayed at so many high-end hotels, many concierges I've added on WeChat are very slow to respond, but this hotel was excellent. The staff actively reached out, sent me the shuttle schedule, and even had a colleague come pick me up when it wasn't quite shuttle time yet, which kept my schedule very tight. They also proactively offered a 2 PM late check-out upgrade, and even though I couldn't use it, I'm incredibly grateful for their thoughtfulness! I've visited Nanjing many times, and I'll definitely be back at the Hilton next time!

The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities. They offer a good number of unique features, and the mini-bar is very popular. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel. It's also very close to the Niushoushan Scenic Area, making it a great place to relax and unwind.

The hotel's public areas are spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor landscaping is excellent. After communicating in advance, the hotel even upgraded us to a Zen-style double room. It's extremely close to Niushou Mountain Scenic Area, and the hotel provides a shuttle bus, or you can walk there in just 8-10 minutes.

A friend recommended staying at the Hilton when visiting Niushou Mountain, so I booked two nights for my parents. They had a great experience, and even tried the vegetarian restaurant upstairs! The hotel's service was excellent, and my parents had a very comfortable stay and a good time. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

The hotel pool is open to the public for a fee. I wanted to use the pool in the evening but was turned away, told it was full, mostly with outside guests. They advised me to come back at 7 AM the next morning. I suggest the hotel improve its management; everything else was fine.

The hotel is quite grand and very close to the scenic area. They offer a shuttle service and the breakfast is plentiful. During holidays, there are various activities. I look forward to trying the swimming pool and gym next time, and I also didn't get a chance to visit Jinling Town. A big shout-out to the front desk staff, they were very easy to communicate with. Apologies, I didn't catch the name of the manager who helped resolve the breakfast issue. Looking forward to staying again!

The kids' playground was a hit with the little ones, and the hotel lobby is beautiful. It's really close to Niushou Mountain, and the overall environment is pretty good. I hope they put more thought into making the親子 activities more engaging and fun. We checked in in the afternoon, but there were so few spots left that we couldn't even book any.

The hotel's capacity is clearly overwhelmed; they've sold too many rooms and lack proper oversight and management of their third-party partners. Firstly, we arrived at 4 PM, and the lobby was packed with people waiting for their rooms. Some guests mentioned waiting for over two hours, while we had to wait for half an hour ourselves. Secondly, they boasted about offering a complimentary travel photography session. The actual photo shoot lasted only half an hour, and when it came to selecting photos, the male customer service representative from the third-party photography company, who seemed to be from Northeast China, was incredibly impatient. He kept pushing us to pay more, urging us to 'take all the photos, take all the photos, take all the photos,' constantly emphasizing how precious his time was. Thirdly, getting breakfast every morning involved waiting in incredibly long queues, often starting from 20 minutes. The attached photo shows the breakfast scene on one of those days.

The hotel is perfectly located at the heart of Niushoushan Scenic Area! The hotel shuttle bus takes only 5 minutes to reach the East Entrance of Niushoushan, and it's also a very short walk, under 10 minutes! The hotel itself boasts excellent facilities and amenities, and the service is very attentive! The breakfast buffet offers great quality too! This is an ideal hotel for visiting Niushoushan!

From the moment I arrived, Chloe's professional welcome and the attentive service throughout my stay left a lasting impression. The hotel environment is absolutely top-notch, nestled right by Mount Niushou. The architecture and landscape are imbued with an Eastern Zen aesthetic, creating a serene and charming atmosphere. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is a high-quality hotel that's definitely worth revisiting.

I chose the Hilton Nanjing Niushoushan because I wanted to visit the Niushoushan scenic area, and it's very close by. The hotel is large with a nice environment, and the staff are quite service-oriented. Their beef noodles are also pretty good! 🤭 On the day I checked out, I booked a photography session with the hotel, and my mom had a great time taking pictures!

The environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is plentiful. The housekeeper, Hellen, is also very friendly and welcoming. ❤️

Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Pleasant and comfortable. Service: First-class. Breakfast was abundant and delicious! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Niushou Mountain. It's incredibly close to Niushou Mountain, within walking distance, though the hotel does offer shuttle service, just not enough frequent runs.
