Stayed here one night between Mara and Amboseli parks. The enormous tents are above ground on wooden platforms. We were aware of various problems in the Kenyan lake areas due to flooding before we came, so we were not surprised by obvious damage in the bathroom area which had some rising damp, although the towels felt damp too. Our huge tent was sp****ly furnished and felt quite cold in November so we were very grateful for the hot water bottles! The mosquito nets were also very welcome being near to the water line. While our tent was a little cold, this was all made up for by the super friendly staff especially Samuel. We were the only people staying that night and the food was simple but tasty and freshly cooked to order for both supper and breakfast. Housekeeping staff were very prompt and attentive and found a head torch left under a pillow just before we departed. The boat trip to see hippos and various bird life plus the nature walk on Crescent island was a welcome change from sedentary game drives. Standing a few metres from a huge male giraffe gives a totally different perspective! Thank you team at Naivasha camp - Asante Sana

We stayed for a couple of nights over xmas at short notice, having been let down by our original accommodation. We paid over £100 a night, which is a total rip off in my opinion, but we had no choice at such short notice. The tents are OK, but are quite shabby. There was no hot water in the sink, but the shower was OK in one of the tents, but a dribble in the other. It's very close to the lake and the view was lovely. Breakfast was good, but dinner was disgusting. We arrived for food at 8.15pm and it looked as though it had been sat there for hours. All dried up and looked vile. We had the soup, but nothing else for this reason. In my opinion, its overpriced and defo not worth the money. Its also really noisy as the public beach is next door and the music was still going well past 1am.

Horrible! A few friends had gone and even decided to change their hotel! From what I heard the place stank and almost all of the pictures you see on social media are photoshopped. The tents are leaky and cold and are quite dirty. Everything was a disaster!

My family and I had an amazing one day stay at Naivasha Crescent Island Camp which exceeded our expectations. This charming campsite not only provided us with a place to stay, but also served as a gateway to a peaceful, breathtakingly beautiful world. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel like part of their family as soon as we arrived. With stunning views that are both a visual feast and a spiritual soother, the camp is located in an absolutely gorgeous area on the Lake Naivasha Shows. After an exciting day of exploring, guests could expect a comfortable and well-appointed stay that would guarantee a good night's sleep. Proximity to the stunning beauty of Lake Naivasha and diverse fauna was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. It was refreshing and revitalizing to be able to relax and reconnect with nature in such a peaceful setting. In conclusion, for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable getaway, I highly recommend Naivasha Crescent Island Camp. This campsite offers the perfect combination of rustic charm, coziness and friendliness - perfect for a quiet getaway or family trip. It is a gem that perfectly captures the essence of Kenya's breathtaking scenery.

It was the second time we were visiting and Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp did not disappoint! This time round we stayed in the tents closer to the Lake and we could hear the hippos grazing late at night. The food was excellent and there was a wide variety to chose from. We carried a packed lunch on the day we visited Hell’s Gate. We all came back with half of what had been packed. The Chef and his team outdid themselves. The tents are very spacious and beautifully furnished complete with tea/coffee making stuff and a hot water bottle for those cold nights. The staff were very courteous and at hand to help. When two members of our party forgot some valuable items in their rooms when we checked out, we were called and we drove back to the Camp to collect the items. Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp will definitely remain our go to place when in Naivasha.

We stayed here one night while visiting the lake and the island. The place is a tented camp, so do not expect anything too fancy. Our tent was old, but clean. The hot water in the shower was not consistent, and since the tent had lots of little openings in the floor, it was quite cold at night. But the housekeeping staff had placed a warm water bottle in our bed before we turned it, which was lovely! Also the bed was comfy and had a warm blanket, so we could sleep very well despite the cold. The food was pretty okay. And the best part was that we could hear hippos behind our tent at night (don't worry there's an electric fence to keep them out of the premises!).

Stayed here in a 3 person tented cottage for one night during our safari. Staff were lovely and when we arrived monkeys were climbing all over our tent. The camp is definitely 3 star only, looking quite tired sadly. The beds were comfortable and all clean. The food was average. We were near the public camp site so a bit noisy but luckily all was quiet by about 8 pm. As it was a week night not sure if it would be this quiet on a weekend. Enjoyed the skiff ride over to Crescent island and walking with the animals there.

Very warm welcome. Lodges face the lake and are a good size with mosquito nets over the beds. Lovely shower / dressing area behind the sleeping area. Dining was average with buffet meals. Helpful staff. Watch for the Vervet Monkeys trying to get the food 😅 Not much to do in the evening as need to be mindful of the local hippos.

We loved the camp very much. It's next to the lake naivasha, we saw many birds, monkeys, and wateruck in the camp. We saw hippos in the evening which made us super excited. The view of the camp is beautiful.
