Stayed here for 5 nights July 2022. Absolutely fabulous. Originally only booked for two nights, however the hotel was so good, I soon changed it to five. Flew down from Don Meuang and was collected from the airport by the hotel taxi, a great service. There was a small charge for this. The concierge guys at the hotel were fantastic. They even organised a hire car for us, which was great. Check in fine, staff on the front desk couldn't be better. The room on the 17th floor excellent. People on here mention the bed. Oh my goodness, the best mattress, bedding and pillows I've ever slept on. Everything perfect in the room and worked just fine. The fittings looked and felt high quality too. Breakfast... Wow, buffet style. All the food on offer was superb. Southern Thai food is really delicious. I tried everything during my 5 night stay. We even had dinner there one night and that too was fabulous. I think the hotel is owned by the CP group, which owns the 7/11 group, and many of the large supermarkets here in Thailand. Mr CP. himself would enjoy a stay here! This is a City centre hotel, if you're looking for a large swimming pool complex, this place may not be for you. However there is a decent size swimming pool with a nice looking Spa complex and a well equipped gym. We were visiting family, so didn't get chance to use those facilities during our stay. Excellent value for money! Couldn't fault the stay at the Grand Fortune Hotel. I will definitely return to Nakhon to visit my new Thai family. I'll definitely be booking this hotel again. Maybe I'll be visiting the family more because of this hotel. Excellent stay and fantastic value for money. Thanks again and best wishes.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was located just off the main road and suitable for travellers with a car. Quite a few car parks both covered and uncovered are available. The bed was comfortable and I liked the hair dryer provided. There is a great street food market just beyond the bridge on the left of the main road. There is also a craft beer bar next to the hotel (which looks like it’s designed or owned by the hotel??) where we watched the World Cup. Room felt a little bare and minimal amenities provided. The water heater for the shower is timed and you would get a sudden blast of hot water or ice cold water so you need to time your bath. Only one key provided so if you leave the room after taking a shower, the power turns off and you come back to a damp bathroom as the air vent is shut off. The sound travels from the corridor but I don’t think there were many guests during our stay so it wasn’t too bad. There is no kettle provided in the room so you have to go to the outdoor lobby area to get hot water, a bit inconvenient but at least it’s provided.

The location is not more than 400 meters from the fresh market. In the morning you can walk and find something to eat in the market. But if it's in the evening, it may be difficult to find something to eat because there is no 7-11. The room is clean and has all the utensils and a hair dryer provided. The bathroom is wide and not cramped. But the room is not soundproof, there is no elevator, you have to walk only by stairs. The building has 3 floors, you get a room on the 2nd floor. The housekeeper is good-natured, speaks well and smiles. But the employee at the check-in counter is not very welcoming (not smiling at all).

I’ve stayed at the MD Grand twice: a few years ago just after it opened and then again on this current trip. In its price range, it’s hard to top in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The staff are excellent and the whole place is very clean, modern and well maintained. Robinson is only 5 minutes’ walk away and there are various Ma and Pa type eateries a short walk away as well. Importantly, the wifi is reliable, something which isn’t guaranteed in these parts... Breakfast is also good. There are four a la carte options and the receptionist took our order upon check-in (18 hours in advance) which was quirky, uber-efficient and somehow cool. There is no kettle in the room, which is the only downer. Would definitely stay there again.

My partner and myself stayed at the hotel on the 27th &28th July 2020, the hotel is new with well appointed rooms and a great breakfast area with a breakfast to match. The hotel also has lovely paintings on all floors and in the rooms and at the reception area as well as sculptures in the reception, outside at the front there are lovely gardens and a big sculpture. At night the food market for eating is straight across the road from the hotel. We will be staying at this hotel again when we revisit the city as everything was great and the service was very friendly.

Since on May 19, I booked a room through Amp OYO and the first thing I booked a room with this place. What expected I saw in theAFL that the hotel room includes breakfast. What I decided to make a reservation and when I checked in, the staff was neat that the room includes breakfast, yes. So the staff gave a coupon to come and enter the room for 10 minutes. Reception staff called to inform that the customer room does not include breakfast. Inform including breakfast So the staff said that in the OYO system, the employee made a mistake. But if the customer wants Have to pay 100 baht per person for breakfast, so usually the hotel has to be responsible. Not that customers have to be responsible Therefore want the hotel Help with the system to be better. I stayed in a ”standard double” room for 1 night only. This hotel is either very new, or newly refurbished. The room was comfortable with a desk area, fridge, kettle, free coffee and water, wardrobe (no safe box), small TV (no English channels), and a small wet style bathroom with hot water shower. There is a lift, and some parking under the building. It's a little bit tricky driving down the narrow alley, so I parked on the street with no trouble. Location for me was ideal, although it depends on what part of town you want to be in. The train station is a very short walk, and just north of the hotel, on the same street, there were food vendors stretched along two blocks, morning, noon, and night. One other thing about this hotel that I enjoyed was the staff I interacted with, including a very kind woman, perhaps the manager (?), who spoke excellent English and was a pleasure to chat with. I would definitely return to the Inka, as I feel this is an excellent value for the money spent.

Good service staff. Sleep in an air-conditioned room. The air conditioner is cool. There is a refrigerator, TV, warm water, and tissue paper outside the bathroom. There is shampoo/shampoo. But I'm not sure which bottle it is. I don't see the label. There is clear glass separating the shower zone from the toilet. The big bed is soft and comfortable. There are clothes drying racks both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. (In front of the room door) :)

Upon arriving you could tell it was a very great hotel before. But due to some unfavorable situations like covid, now it's just a regular hotel. However the price is decent. Location is also good.

I’ve stayed at the MD Grand twice: a few years ago just after it opened and then again on this current trip. In its price range, it’s hard to top in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The staff are excellent and the whole place is very clean, modern and well maintained. Robinson is only 5 minutes’ walk away and there are various Ma and Pa type eateries a short walk away as well. Importantly, the wifi is reliable, something which isn’t guaranteed in these parts... Breakfast is also good. There are four a la carte options and the receptionist took our order upon check-in (18 hours in advance) which was quirky, uber-efficient and somehow cool. There is no kettle in the room, which is the only downer. Would definitely stay there again.
