Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam

We stayed at Oakwood Hotel n Apartments 3 times. But this time round we stayed in their 2 bedroom executive suite. To us, Oakwood is the best hotel in Batam. Location is superb. Close to Batam Grand Mall, eateries and massage spas. Strongly recommended to book their Studio and 2 bedrooms suites. Rooms are very clean, cosy, nicely furnished and decorated, enough n conducive lightings, nice matching colours and new furniture n fittings. Very comfortable bed n pillows. Very nice n modern toilet/shower amenities. Strong aircon. Lots of TV channels, with Netflix n Youtube. Buffet bfast average. But inroom dining foods are nicer and better in taste. Customer service by all the staff are awesome. Strongly recommended.

It's a shame all i would like abt this hotel ruined by knocking noise frm the widow facade. This noise would surfaced approximately 7am local time and would last several hours. Since my check-in was after 3pm, i did not notice this noise on first day. As i am out almost the entire day, i had only realised this noise had developed into a pattern only on my last day checkout. Room change is already inconvenient at this point. We all been to hotels with sun facing windows, please don't lean on weather conditions that this noise generated frm it. Room 809, guys. Your welcome. Trip would not allow video upload to show for it.

Great location, good stay. The breakfast buffet spread is great too! The front desk reception staff Salsa was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We will be back again!

The only thing that I can feedback is that the aircon is very cold especially at night and it’s not adjustable. When I turn off the aircon, only the aircon in living room is switched off. The bedroom aircon still functions. Everything else is perfect.

This is my 1st time booking Oakwood through Trip.com as my hotel booking app shows sold out of the preferred room type so without hestsitation, I immediately make booking & make payment. I enjoyed my stay in Oakwood due to it cleanliness, location, services & amenities.

I recently stayed at Oakwood Hotel & Apartments Grand Batam for a short getaway, and it felt like a refreshing upgrade from the usual Batam hotel experience. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the space felt modern and polished, with a calm, upscale vibe that set the tone for the rest of the stay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff (Maya) were warm and welcoming, which made settling in easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything laid out in a practical way. While it wasn’t overly spacious, it didn’t feel cramped, and the bed was especially comfortable after a full day out. One of the biggest highlights was definitely the location—the hotel is directly connected to Grand Batam Mall, making it incredibly convenient to access food, shopping, and even nearby massage spots without needing to travel far. Overall, it was a fuss-free and enjoyable stay. The facilities, including the pool and breakfast, were decent and met expectations, though not particularly outstanding. What really stood out was the convenience and comfort, making it a great choice for a relaxing, easy getaway. I would certainly consider staying here again, especially for a short trip where convenience and comfort are key.

Location was perfect. Right next to Grand Batam Mall. There are linkages from hotel direct to the Mall. Breakfast spread was delightful and some changes to the menu were noticed. They gave free hi-tea set for 2 persons upon check-in. They also gave away cookies. Will definitely stay again if I come to Batam.

Super good location with direct link to Grand Batam Mall. All staffs are professional and friendly. Breakfast is good. Infinity pool is beautiful. Will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The hotel is simply awesome. We stayed at the Studio Premier room. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff were all really polite and helpful. The staff at front desk was really awesome with their attitude and attention. The hotel is right next to Grand Batam Mall, making it really convenient. There are also a few good massage places nearby the hotel which are quite valued for money.
