Hotel Country Villa Reviews

Currently, there are three buildings in use. The first and second buildings are connected to the restaurant, and the restaurant's exhaust fans are constantly blowing, making it very noisy. The third building is quite out of the way, has fewer guests, and the environment is very poor. The rooms have a strong odor and are also very small. The food taste is mediocre, and it's expensive. I suspect the hygiene is even worse, as I had stomach issues for three days after eating there. However, the scenery is absolutely stunning, so the hardships were almost worth it.

Namaskar Thank you for the Stay at your nice historic Heritage Hotel Villa. The Views are breathraking an the Staff is very nice too. Also the Pool is to recommendable because heated and a stunning Sight over all Mountains Range. Also the Whirlpool is something special and interesting to use for . See you soon Namaste ,🙏🏼

Nice view and serene. If come without transport, will be slightly inconvenient.

Although the fog obscured the beautiful sunset and sunrise, I still had a relaxing time at this lovely hotel. The dinner was a bit pricey, but the Dal Bhat was delicious.

This place is such a gem. Take slightly more than an hour direct from the Kathmandu airport. The views from the hotel is breathtaking. The room was clean and big enough for 2 pax. I like the balcony where i could just sit to take in the views and gaze at the stars at night. Bathroom was impeccably clean and the towels are really good. I participated in their morning hike organized by the hotel. The 1 hour i wished would lasted longer. We got a glimpse of the life around Nagarkot with amazing vistas. I must commend all the staffs at the hotel. Top notch service from everyone. With smile and very friendly. Special mention of Binod who has been very attentive in his service.

It's a 20-30 minute walk from Nagarkot bus stop, but the view from the hotel balcony is excellent. If you want to see the Himalayas and the sunrise together, and relax, I think this is a good choice. In early May, I was lucky enough to have clear weather early in the morning and could see the Himalayas very well. There's also a spa, pool, and restaurant, giving it a resort feel. The staff are very kind and helpful, even with my broken English.

Beautifully kept hotel with splendid views and service. The restaurant deserves a special mention.

It was my great experience there even such a night staying there. It was so beautiful location to see the view of The Everest Mt. staff were very friendly and professional, breakfast was amazing and room was perfect. Lovely time ever to stay here.

The room I was initially provided gave me a terrible experience. However, after I informed housekeeping about the issue, they promptly addressed it and shifted me to another, upgraded room. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness and prompt action. Additionally, before we checked out, the hotel supervisor and manager personally came down to ask us how our stay was after the room change, which was a very professional gesture. I truly appreciate their efforts

Highly recommended and perfect staycation for sunrise and sunset view

Hotel Country Villa was a great stay with some disappointments. The location is perfect with a great view from all around the hotel. The service and staff were great all around with some exceptions. I booked 3 rooms for a total of 5 people with non non-refundable plan but due to a decrease in the number of people from 5 to 4, the hotel agreed to cancel 1 room for free for us. Although the process took some time and some pushing from Trip.com agent I am grateful for the free cancellation. One of the rooms I booked, the Junior Suite was for my partner and me for a short honeymoon kind of stay. The room was well designed and had great views but the in-room Jacuzzi needs maintenance. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were also great and the pool staff let us use them more than the closing time. The disappointing part of the stay was during breakfast. The buffet was amazing but the glass I used for juice had lipstick stains which I noticed after drinking from it. I am a male who doesn't use lipstick so it was clearly not mine. When I complained to a staff member who seemed to be a supervisor of some sort, instead of an apology, he laughed and asked us "Are you sure that it's not yours?" After that, he took the glass away and brought a new glass of juice but the juice was different from the one I was drinking. We were completely shocked by this as it was not a rookie staff that did this but rather a supervisor. Overall, we are satisfied with the whole stay but the lipstick on the glass has left a bad aftertaste.
