Togakushi- Kogen Minshuku Rindo

It has good walking access to tourist spots such as Kaminari Onsen, Little Ninja Village, and Togakushi Shrine, so I was able to enjoy it after checking in. I am satisfied with the local home-cooked meals. However, please note that tourist spots and hot springs close early.

This inn is relatively close to the middle shrine of Togakushi Shrine and has spacious rooms. The interior was also beautiful. It said there was free Wifi, but I couldn't connect at all. I decided to stay at this inn because it said it had Togakushi soba made by the owner, but I was a little disappointed, perhaps because I expected too much. However, there were several things that surprised me more than that, so I gave it one star. ① Small pot dishes that use simple fuel. Light a fire unilaterally earlier than the meal start time. By the time I got there, the food was already cold. Dishes that use fuel are delicious when freshly prepared! Isn't it? Don't understand the basics of cooking? ② The callousness of placing a rectangular aluminum tray in front of the served meal. Of course I'll help you clean up. But maybe this is different? The next morning, I put the tray down on the chair in front of the owner, and it was still there, even at dinner, right in front of the food. Am I the only one who feels it's insensitive? ③Use of blankets is prohibited. Blankets only. In this case, you will need sheets. If the blanket is washed every day, it's fine. Probably not. I was very reluctant to use a blanket that I didn't know how many people had used, so I used a large bath towel that I had brought with me as a sheet, and also put the blanket on so that my body wouldn't touch it. I folded it and used it. This is the first time I have stayed in such a scary hotel.

The facilities and food are reasonable for the price, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Also, if you have to leave early, they will prepare you a bento box instead of breakfast. There is also a day-trip hot spring within a 2-3 minute walk, making it the perfect accommodation for climbing Mt. Iizawa and the Togakushi mountain range.

I chose it on the premise that it is a guest house and that the toilet and bath are shared. The room seemed to be full, but the toilet and washroom were not crowded, and although it was old, it was clean and well-maintained, including the bath. Breakfast and dinner were included. The room was a Japanese-style room, and even though it was old, it was well-cleaned, but the children couldn't stop coughing and running nose at night. I didn't have a cough or a runny nose the next night or during the day outdoors, so I wondered if there was something I was allergic to. This time, the trip was mainly for the Little Ninja Village, so the location was great because it was within walking distance.

In July, I was looking for a facility that could accommodate a family of five (three children, one of whom is a one-year-old baby) that could be reached by car from Nagano Station, and I happened to be able to get a room. Togakushi Shrine is also nearby, and Ninja Village is also very close. The back looks like a ski resort. A guest caught a firefly at the nearby waterfront! So I had him show it to me. I saw fireflies for the first time in my life, and I'll never forget it. It came at a very good time. Since we were expected to arrive late at night, it was a good idea to buy dinner and drinks at a convenience store in Nagano City at the foot of the mountain before driving up the mountain road. I saw a gas station on the way, but it was closed at night, so it would be a good idea to fill up with gas. There was a private parking lot next door, so there was plenty of space even for a large one-box car. There are no refrigerators or toiletries in the rooms, so please bring your own towels and toothbrushes. Since there is no place to store the food and drinks you buy at a convenience store, it would be convenient to have a simple cooler box. The toilet was a shower toilet. The water in the bathroom is super cold even though it's summer! ! That's surprising. There are also fireflies. There is no air conditioner in the room, just a fan. The kids seemed to enjoy sleeping on futons as a family. Breakfast is also Japanese style, and you can refill the rice served in a bowl. It was delicious. thank you for helping me!

The bath was warm and very nice. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Miso soup was very delicious.
