I am really not satisfied with the room. There is no bathroom or washbasin. The price of 1,000 yuan is to sleep on the floor. My feet are cold all night because the quilt is not as comfortable as down or silk quilt. I regret not bringing a scarf with me. Stuffing the gaps around the neck of the quilt, it was an extremely difficult night, but the location of the hotel is amazing, just opposite the station. I kept my luggage for a few hours when I checked out. Also, the hotel feels like a restaurant, upstairs The road is filled with the smell of the kitchen 😄 It is rare to encounter this type of room on Ctrip. I hope Ctrip will make a clear note next time.

A traditional Japanese-style family hotel with public toilets and hot spring pools. The restaurant on the second floor is an izakaya in the evening. It is a 2-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient.

If you consider yourself as a serious fresh tuna eater, this is the place. The onsen minshuku Wakatake provides patrons freshly caught hon maguro sashimi. I couldn’t believe it that a beautifully presented sashimi dish of hon maguro was served at dinner. This is the ultimate experience I have ever experienced. I would strongly recommend this Minshuku Wakateke to visit before Japanese media reporters discover and report this little yet genuinely delightful Minshuku to viewers in Japan. The owners are truly kind and enthusiastic about quality of food and sake.

Since we had to leave early the next morning, we chose a plan that only included dinner. In the evening, the staff are busy preparing dinner, so check-in is required by 17:45. Parking is available around the inn. You can find it if you go near it. It is also close to the station, so you can access it without a car. The inn kindly provided us with two 4.5 tatami rooms. Smoking is allowed. The bathroom and toilet are shared. The room had the bare necessities, including a hair dryer. A one-push mosquito repellent spray was also provided. Dinner is served in two sessions, at 18:00 and 18:30, and you can choose whichever you prefer. We chose the most popular plan for dinner, but the portions were extraordinary. It was all seafood, with many rare small dishes such as tuna innards. We tried our best, but it was difficult to finish 100%. The taste was excellent. The bath was a hot spring. It was a very satisfying inn. I recommend it to those who like seafood, such as tuna. The volume of the dinner was less than 10,000 yen per person, which is great value for money. I think the dinner alone is worth about 30,000 yen. However, it would be best to have a light lunch on the day of your stay.

It was clean and stylish. The place felt new overall, was well-cleaned, and the cleaning staff were cheerful and friendly, so I was able to spend a pleasant time there. Due to budget constraints, I chose the lodging without meals, but when I checked in, there was a nice smell in the air, and I regret not having booked the meal-included room. I can easily imagine that delicious food would be served. On the other hand, while there was a large shared refrigerator in the lodging without meals, it was disappointing that there was no microwave.

It was clean and comfortable. The facilities are handmade, but the warm atmosphere was very good.
