After 2 and a half years we finally got there!! And in all our many travels, never can I honestly say I felt like we were leaving family when we had to go home!! Even from arrival, when Athina went thru restaurants and places to visit, then realised hadn’t taken driving licences, but all good , we needed a relaxing holiday and that’s exactly what happened! The view from our panoramic window was simply amazing then out onto an enormous terrace with the sun beds we used of an afternoon after a walk into town, on a very busy road, Mykonos don’t do a big line on pavements, but we got used to it and plenty other people walking around too, this was an ideal way to walk off a perfect traditional breakfast. I missed out on Athina’s scrumptious morning bakes, as gluten free, my partner loved them all, and have to say they did look tasty, however, I did have the rice pudding with cinnamon and was delightful as reminded me of my youth, as my mum used to make it the same., as well as Greek yogurt, fruits etc on her morning menu. The freshly squeezed orange juice was so lovely too! The clean white lines and simplicity of our room was perfect and cleaned immaculately every day, with a socket by the mirror for my hair dryer/ straightener, I was very happy! There are 6 rooms at this boutique hotel/apartments, it’s not a large hotel and if you require big hotel amenities then maybe think this thru but what it misses on big facilities it more than makes up on the personal attention, help and friendliness that Athina and Athanasios pour into their small hotel. Athina recommended the garden where the cinema is located in town for a chill in the afternoon, and can highly recommend if you want to escape the cruise boat chaos the small town encounters, it was idillac. Would come back in a heartbeat, don’t hesitate to book this lovely family run hotel. Thank you so much Athina, Athanasios, Joanna and the very cute Sophia, a very busy little lady with an adorable little smile. Hopefully see you in Mykonos, Greece or even Scotland soon!

This beautiful hotel was an oasis of peace, beauty, quiet, and gracious hospitality for my husband and our dear friends. Athena and her husband are the kindest hosts you can imagine. We really appreciated the quiet location after the overwhelmingly crowded downtown area of Mykonos. Walking distance to beautiful beaches and the downtown area. Athena and her husband prepared a delicious full breakfast, prepared with love and care. We highly recommend !! Thank you Athena!!

I stayed 3 nights in Aether Boutique Stay with my friend. The room is pretty spacious and there is unblocked view from the room to see the ocean. I was expecting to have an enjoyable experience in the hotel, however these encounters made our stay less than pleasant right from the moment I arrived at the airport. I expected to see the hotel staff waiting for me at the airport when I exited, especially I have informed the hotel the moment I touched down and when I collected my baggage. I was so anxious whether I have missed the signage with my name and kept pacing around keeping a lookout. It was only after 30 mins (when most of the groups have left) that I was picked up. This is the first time I had to wait so long for a pre-arranged pick-up. I felt worse because I was already very worn out after a 12 hour red-eye flight. Also, because my friend and I arrived at the airport at different timing, we needed two separate airport transfers. This was informed to the hotel prior to the trip. However, the hotel did not highlight the extra cost for the additional transfer and said they would make an exception. In the end, we were asked to pay 20 euros to the driver for the transfer to the port as they claimed that we have already used up our 2x transfers when we arrived. If they were transparent, we could opt to pay for the driver for the airport transfer as the airport is much nearer to the hotel as compared to the port. The room amenities also seriously need some upgrading. A few issues: - No proper toilet roll holder. I had to hold the toilet roll in my hand to take the amount that I need. - Shower head was not functioning properly. Water was leaking from the sides and this resulted in low water pressure. - Hot water pressure was insufficient. A few times mid-way through my shower, I ended up showering in cold water. - The door lock is the pretty old type whereby you had to use the key to lock both sides, which is uncommon nowadays. This meant that when we returned to the hotel, we had to lock the door with the key in the dark before we could activate the power in the room with the card attached to the key. Bearable, but still inconvenient. - Wifi signal is weak in our room and practically non-existent most of the time. We had to head to the outdoor terrace nearer to the reception to use the wifi. But the night could get quite chilling, and we were not able to stay outside for too long. The breakfast menu was decent with a good selection. However, the portion leaves more to be desired. We requested for salami which was stated as one of the menu items and was only given one slice per person. On another occasion, we asked for more cherries because the original quantity given were too few for two paxs, and Athina was counting the cherries before placing on our plates. I am not a big eater but to see "food rationing" happening in front of my eyes wasn't a pleasant experience. Although this is a boutique hotel, the price is not exactly very affordabl

Aether boutique is exactly what we wanted from our Mykonos 3 night stay. It is the opposite of a large business type hotel. No bar or pool so you should go somewhere else if that is what you want. Athina and her husband are very attentive , provided good advice for beaches and restaurants . Breakfast very authentic and delicious. Near bus stop for town and beach . Walkable to town but no pavement. At the price it is perfect for a short Mykonos stay

Aether Boutique Stay is a great hotel on Mykonos. It's particularly perfect for those who want some peace and quiet at night without needing to drive. The walk into Mykonos Town took about 15 minutes, and we walked into town every night for dinner and either took the bus (the journey only takes a few minutes) or a taxi back after dinner. We took the bus (the bus stops are just steps away from the hotel) south to the beaches, and it was convenient. The hotel itself is lovely, with nice, spacious and clean rooms and fantastic homemade breakfasts everyday (the breakfasts were the highlight of our stay at the hotel!). Athina and her husband were very kind and helpful during our stay, even going out of their way to help us find out more information about our cancelled ferry on our departure day (including helping us find out that our ferry tickets would be accepted on a larger ferry later that day). They also arranged our airport pick-up and a taxi to the ferry port on the day we checked out. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for two nights during our trip to Greece. It's a small place, so obviously it's not a big corporate hotel with loads of facilities, if this is what you are after. You can walk to and from the town from here, though not the best walk since they don't seem big on pavements in Mykonos. However, it is super close to the bus route; that runs every half hour and is very cheap. We didn't have a car, but access and parking looked very easy if you had one. It's proximity to the Eko petrol station means taxi drivers can find it easily as well; probably the best way to get back from town after a night out. We arrived at the port by ferry from Naxos and were provided with a free collection; driver was there on time with a nice clear sign. For that matter we were provided with a free airport transfer; it is very so convenient for that. Say about 20 and 10 minutes respectively. The place is very quiet and since it is on a hilltop there is a decent view of the sea and the town. Not only is it a short trip into town, you can use the bus to go to Platis Gialos for the beach. It only takes 15 minutes and you are right by the sea. You will get provided with free beach towels every day; just pick them up in the morning from the basket and drop them in the used towel basket when you get back. We had a flight late afternoon and they were more than happy for us to take towels and have a shower after the beach before transferring to the airport that day. As other reviews note, this establishment is run by Athina and her husband and they absolutely put heart and soul into looking after the place and their guests. When we arrived she sat down with us and explained all about the beaches, the buses, where to eat in Mykonos town and booked a trip to Delos for us. Mention has been made of the breakfasts; the baking is done by Athina herself. She makes some great cakes and bread. We were so well looked after from start to finish, which exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We would thoroughly recommend the place.

This small, beautiful hotel was great in every way : It was quiet, the hosts were helpful, the rooms were very clean, the view was amazing and what can I say about the most delicious breakfasts I ever ate ? Athina was devoted to making our stay the most comfortable and memorable ever.

Aether is the perfect place to stay. It is close to downtown, but quiet, and comfortable. The price is amazing based on the high quality of experience. The hosts, Athina and Athanasios are always checking in the see if you need anything. Athina gets up early every day to bake something special and Athanasios makes a great cup of coffee.
