I stayed for 3 nights with a tour group, and got to see several rooms. The rooms are clean and very charming. The courtyard, etc is also really beautiful. Good breakfasts. Nice family runs the place. Highly recommend. I noticed that one reviewer had trouble with spotty wi fi; that occurred with me but generally worked out.

Room was clean but on the very top floor and bordered by three other rooms, very loud. I could hear every single word neighbors said. The biggest issue was with hot water, zero. I let them know but I had no hot water to shower for two days. Others had the same experience.

Great hotel with a nice location at the top of a hill. The rooms are very unique and had lots of space and were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and as a result, enjoyed all three nights in the hotel. Located at the top of hill, the area around the hotel was very walkable and offered a few different shops and restaurants, including a pharmacy! The walk back to the hotel was uphill, so that could be an issue depending on your level of comfort with walking. The hotel was like taking a step back in time, with actual physical room keys! The room entrances were all located outside surrounded by a courtyard and a couple of staircases that you can take to the rooftop for some stunning views. Best of all, there are a lot of dogs that walk with you to and from the center of town, so be sure to bring some dog treats for your stay.

I stayed here as part of a tour group of 25+. The rooms are fine albeit a little dank (but they are "cave" rooms so that it is to be expected) and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff is friendly. My main complaint is that I did not have sustained reliable wifi during my three night stay. If that matters to you, you may want to stay elsewhere.

Suleyman, the owner, is Suleyman the Magnificient! He is a warm genuine person who puts guests at ease and provides unbelievable service. The stay at Upper Greek House was superb and the dinners at his other property just down the hill were delicious. The town is cute-- much better that Goreme. It is also centrally located to all the site. It is no wonder Rick Steve's has this in his book.

This is an exceptional and unique property with beautiful, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Judy and John are incredible hosts and offer wonderful tours of the area that contribute to a meaningful 5 star experience. About a 10 minute walk away is the Old Greek House where you can dine on the best Turkish food in all of the area!!! Highly recommend for a fabulous and memorable time!

Rooms are very clean, comfortable and charming. Staff is very nice and extremely attentive. Rooftop dining options are amazing with views of surrounding areas.
