The Kichijoji district is worth the trip, but the homestay I booked this time was a big mistake. If you want to book a first-floor homestay, I don't recommend it. Before the trip, I booked both Tokyu REI and Yume-no-ya, which were recommended by tourists. The reviews of the former said that the room facilities were old and you could hear the sound of the tracks (I didn't look closely, the north side faces the tracks and the south side faces the track), so I looked at the pictures and booked Yume-no-ya, which looked more homely and warm and thought it was renovated. The customer service did remind me that the room 106 I booked was close to the railway and I could clearly hear the noise, thinking it was the same problem as REI, but they didn't mention how close it was, just avoiding the main point and saying that it depends on each person's tolerance for noise. Bad point 2⃣️ As shown in the picture, Yume-no-ya is actually divided into two buildings. The room 106 I booked is in a corridor that only allows one person to pass through, facing another room, and the other is at the entrance of a narrow road, which really makes people feel insecure. The sanitation in the room is very average. It can be seen that it is a "renovation" with extremely low costs. The skirting of the bedroom wall is made of stickers, and the wiring is exposed. The floor is simply lifted up, and the dust under the bed makes me glad that I didn't book a room with a floor bed. The mattress is very mediocre, and the bed sheet is as thin as a cicada's wing. The bath towels are piled on the cover of the washing machine. Except for one white towel, the rest are coffee-colored towels. I dare not say that there are any special requirements for the quality of the bath towels. The color cannot make people see the new and old cleanliness at a glance. I have never seen dark bath towels in any hotel or homestay before. The slippers are also black, and the uppers and soles are used. If you advocate the concept of environmental protection, you can clearly state in the booking instructions that it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Bad point 3⃣️, Mengzhishe does not provide luggage storage service. Although it was communicated in advance that it can be kept until 5:30 before the staff get off work, the customer service did not respond in time when I left at 9 o'clock in the morning. The weather was too hot and there was no need to go back to pick up the luggage. I directly stored it at the station at my own expense. The location of the B&B is in the alley behind Tokyu REI, so I felt extremely upset every time I passed by REI these three nights. I strongly do not recommend it!

It is a B&B on two floors. The stairs are not big, so you have to carry your luggage up by yourself. The walkways are dirty and there are people smoking in the common spaces on the first floor. If you want to experience the one-bedroom life of the Showa period, you can stay here, but you just have to be careful about the noise, because the tram passes right next to it, and there are only 5 hours a day without noise and vibration problems.

The sound of the 🚃 was amazing...other than that it was comfortable.

There are no curtains, only blinds, so you can see in from outside when you turn on the light. The pillows smell bad. The only amenities provided are shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.
