The amenities say: Heater: Not provided, 24 hrs room service: Wont provide even an iron box after 2230 hrs, 24 hrs in room dining: Dont understand how it is possible if restraunt closes at 2230🤷🏻‍♂️. Overall the staff ***ages to string together the property in shape…. Inexperienced work culture at reception. Towels in room in pathetic shape, even 1 stars have better towels. Restraunt and its staff are the only Best part of property!!

We came here on a group booking and didn't have high expectations but it wasn't very special. In particular the drains smelt terribly after the shower had been used, although it was was good sized with lots of hot water. Staff were pleasant enough and supper buffet style was good but this being the holiday season the restaurant was full of local families making lots of noise. Breakfast was a strange affair with hot drinks served from a window in the tiniest of paper mugs which were near impossible to carry. Reception were kind enough to find me some ice for my swollen ankle. Like other hotels they seem to have a problem in providing two hand towels for two people sharing a room, although you do get two bath towels.

We were not staying here, but we decided to have lunch at their restaurant. As we walked in most tables were unoccupied, so we selected a table near the billing counter. There were five or six waiters and staff members near the counter talking. They saw us and continued to talk amongst themselves. None of them came over to take our order.We sat there for about five minutes without being attended to. Then one of the waiters left the group and we thought he was coming towards us, but too our surprise he went to another table and started clearing up. At this point we called out to him and asked him what the problem was. Then without a word he went and brought us a menu card, which he just left at our table. At which point, we had had enough and decided not to eat there at all. This whole experience left a bad taste in the mouth and we got the feeling that these guys did not care for any business. This review is as much for the other travelers like us as for the owners of this restaurant to let them know how their staff treats customers,

Excellent stay in eastend hotel. I stayed for 2 nights, i was with big group of 28 person. Hotel accepts group wise booking as well. Food spread for breakfast Lunch and dinner was good. Good service. There few minor improvements needed but that can be ignored as well. This centrally located.

Beautiful hotel in Munnar. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We slept with the balcony door open and could hear beautiful running water all night. The restaurant had lovely food and wonderful service. The grounds were well curated and included a terrace, treehouse and secret tunnel.

spacious room, nice accomodation. Internet worked and can charge all phones- both are such must haves, food is alright, nothing to complain. Overall happy. close to market. Shopped for tea and spices at Ripple, I understand it's TATA brand and known for good quality.

The property is located in the heart of the Munnar city, it is a great location, but the service, food and the overall cleanliness in the hotel was average. Right from the time we entered this place, we were not really able to connect to this place as the reception plays an important part in making you feel at home. The guys in the reception simply took our details and handed over the keys. No greetings. When we went to the room, though the room looked clean, but there was some thing on the floor which made our feet black. TV set didn't really work. Room service was simply denied for no reason. The restaurant though big had a limited set of options in terms of breakfast. No live counter and the idly tasted as of a lot of soda was mixed. Bread used were not fresh. Tea was bland. The play area for the kids lacked a bit of maintenance. It was an average stay as the good part about this place is we had a peaceful sleep at night. Rooms were getting cleaned every day.

The Eastend is in a great location and both the hotel and garden have kerb appeal. Once inside the hotel looks tired, in both the public areas and the bedrooms. I was lucky to have a room with a balcony and lovely view of the city, so my impression was good when I first walked in. Others in my group complained of damaged flooring, missing fridges, missing hand towels etc. However, on closer inspection I noticed that the mirror above the desk was filthy. Not having brought any cleaning products with me I used my bathmat and some soap to clean it. The bathmat was black with dirt from my efforts. Most alarmingly, the bed linenhad not been changed. While I was inspecting the bed sheets I noticed that the mattress was so old and tatty it had little lumps all over it. I don't mind faded elegance, but dirt is simply not acceptable. When I brought the cleanliness matter to the staff's attention it was promptly, if unsmilingly, dealt with. I did, however, buy some alcohol wipes and give everything a going over. Walls are paper thin, so rooms are noisy. Buffet lunch was tasty and varied, and the ***ager came to check if everything was OK, or if we'd like anything changed for our other meals. Such a shame that a hotel with so much going for it lets itself down with so ***y easily solvable issues.

Friendly Helpful Staff But Lacking in Hygenic Cleanliness. - It was clearly visible to see mould growth in the corner of the shower room. - The shower head had rust stains. - The cleaner arrived to clean the room carrying a 'dry swish mop' instead of properly wet mopping the floors. - Stains clearly visible on delivered bath towels inspite of the towels smelling freshly laundered. - The WiFi was non existent, crashing at every try at loading. Conclusion: Extra attention to hygiene I received a massage at this hotel. It was okay....but , the room was too large and therefore felt uninviting, the 'smell' was unfresh plus, under heated with the result that my skin felt cold rather than totally relaxed. Conclusion: Attention to Hygenic space and creating a welcoming relaxing ambiance fir the massage client.
