I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Hotel Royal Castle Mumbai. The room was in terrible condition, and the most disturbing issue was the overwhelming foul smell of poo coming from the toilet. It was unbearable and made it impossible to relax or even sleep in the room. The cleanliness was subpar, and the overall maintenance of the hotel was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested in addressing issues, and there was a general lack of professionalism. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, as it was a completely uncomfortable and distressing stay. Avoid at all costs!

The experience this time was very disappointing. The basin in washroom was leaking and even after reporting it was not addressed. There was no water supply in the washroom was unavailable during one of the nights and was available only at 6:00 am.

Not worth as per amount that we paid
1. The toilet seat cover was not functioning properly.
2. The room was too small for the price.
3. The staff's behavior towards customers was unsatisfactory.
4. There was too much noise, and it felt like someone was working in the adjacent staff room, compromising privacy.
5. The breakfast options were limited.

Worst experience ever. Will never recommend this hotel for couples or if you are travelling with family. Had sleepless nights with the strong smell of cigarettes spreading everywhere in this hotel. Despite paying for breakfast we were allowed to select only one meal per person. On our first night we found bugs and hair strands on the bedsheet (don't be fooled by their pictures). The head shower was very dirty. Toilet tissue were never refilled despite paying for four nights. We had to leave the hotel despite paying in advance.

I stayed at the hotel for seven days and have had better hotels during my trip through india that offered more service, friendlier staff and better value for money. When i get a room right next to the hotel kitchen, the staff talking loudly and washing dishes until one/two o'clock in the morning and rattling the dishes again very early the next morning, it's hard to sleep. When food is being prepared, the smell wafts into the room. So avoid the rooms near the kitchen, otherwise you will regret your booking. The wifi wasn't the fastest and didn't work at all on some days. Otherwise i made do with these circumstances but cannot recommend this hotel.
