Great little place to stay. The rooms were appropriately decorated to fit in with the whole atmosphere of the town which we loved. Not flash but clean well stocked with condiments.

Very inconvenient that you have to walk 2 blocks to pick up key from pub..
Not enough parking… had to park in main road..
Air conditioning was a little noisy
Other than that . Clean and comfortable beds

reasonable size rooms, located very close to the RSL club and a short walk to the main street. Good water pressure in the showers, A/C was effective and beds were comfortable.
The confirmation advice tells that reception is open till 11pm. What isn't mentioned is that the key is to be picked up from the Middle Hotel in the main street. We got off the coach and walked past this pub on our way to the hotel, only to have to backtrack to the pub to get the key. Its not far, but at 9.30pm after a tiring day travelling it was another journey which could have been avoided.
Tariff is competitive with others in the area, location to town is good, and I would stay there again.

Absolutely fantastic service and staff. Checking in was easy at The Middle and it was central so everything was in walking distance.
The room was nice and the bed comfortable. The shower was nice pressure but no shower curtain so the water tended to spread.
The only issue is the services club next door had a live band going on my last night there but that is no reflection on the motel itself.

Mullum Motel is well situated in the town but, that’s about the only good thing it has going for it.
The building is old and tired and needs an upgrade. The room was ok but, I wasn’t happy with the bathroom. The taps on the sink were extremely difficult to turn off completely, and there is a sign on the wall regarding the conservation of water?!! The shower screen had a dangerous crack in the glass and there is a lip of about 15mm connecting the tiled area at the door to the carpet area in the remainder of the room which is a very dangerous tripping hazard.
The place is fine for those wanting a place to lay your head and shower but, for those wanting a little more comfort, look elsewhere.
