I recently stayed at the Ravens Cliff Hotel Lodge by Marston's Inns, and found it to be a clean and comfortable choice for accommodation. The rooms were well-maintained, providing a good night's rest in a peaceful setting. One of the perks I noticed was a discount offered in the restaurant for hotel residents, though it's important to mention that this is only available if you book directly through the hotel, which was a bit disappointing.
During my dining experiences at the hotel restaurant, I felt that the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. While the service was efficient, a warmer interaction would have greatly enhanced the overall experience. Nonetheless, the food quality was satisfactory.

A basic hotel with simple rooms. The fourth bed in our room was noticeably shorter, so my 13-year-old child didn’t quite fit. That said, the restaurant was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly. And although the rooms were quite basic, they still met all our needs.

Lovely weekend in Glasgow
I booked an accessible twin room at Raven's Cliff, Motherwell for the weekend. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the pillows were great to sleep on, and the accessible toilet / shower was large and easy to use. The breakfast and dinner served in the pub / restaurant were delicious and the price was reasonable. In summary, I had a lovely weekend stay at Raven's Cliff in Motherwell.

I used to enjoy staying at a Arden’s mainly for the carvery only weekend now
Menu is burgers or fish and chips
I opted for the fish it was terrible definitely not haddock batter was ok but would never eat that white thing inside the batter and told the staff as I was leaving went to bed hungry as it’s miles from anywhere

hotel room was just basic and the pub food and drinks was very expensive for what you get very disappointing also couldn’t eat or talk to family members with dogs barking and growling at each other

It was disgusting, litter all over entrance, unhealthy meals, food on floor of our table the one I ate there. Silly string imbedded in entrance carpet, paint peeling off door to restaurant, no public transportation, bed set that you hit the emergency button so we had to move it. & bash your head on your phone connection. Not enough towels, no fridge, no ice, for the money a disaster! Sticky nasty surfaces in room & restaurant… do not stay there!!!
