GGuest UserI stayed for two nights in Dunedin on New Zealand's South Island, and this motel was, without a doubt, the most delightful accommodation of my entire trip!
Even though the motel is 25 years old, it's impeccably clean and perfectly maintained. The walls, floors, and bedding are spotless – you wouldn't guess its age at all. Its cleanliness surpasses many newer hotels, making for a truly comfortable and reassuring stay.
What touched me most was the owner, Barry, an incredibly gentle and thoughtful gentleman! Dunedin gets quite cold, so he had already turned on the electric blanket for me in advance. Stepping into the room, it was wonderfully warm, instantly dispelling the South Island chill and my travel fatigue. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need – pots, pans, a stove, and utensils were all neatly arranged.
My travel plans were delayed, so I didn't arrive until after 10 PM. After I called ahead to inform him, Barry patiently waited for me without any hint of rush or impatience. Upon arrival, he quickly checked me in and handed me the keys. His entire demeanor was friendly and attentive, showing kindness in every detail.
The whole Barry family was incredibly welcoming, providing genuine service without being intrusive. It felt like staying at a relative's home, so relaxing. This is a veteran motel run with true heart – clean, warm, thoughtful, and convenient; it truly ticks all the boxes.
If you're traveling to Dunedin, you can't go wrong with this place; I wholeheartedly and highly recommend it! I'll definitely be recommending it to all my friends visiting Dunedin!

YYoubianshijiedezhuThis time I went to New Zealand to travel and stayed at this hotel for 2 days in Danidine. The hotel stay is impeccable! First of all, you must like the hotel's staff service. There are Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk. There are zero barriers to communication. For us who are not good at English, it is simply a snow delivery! From the check-in guidelines to the surrounding recommendations, I have been very patient. Seeing that we have more luggage and upgraded a large room, I was very touched.
The hotel environment is even more amazing! The courtyard room we live in is surrounded by a garden. Although this time it is winter, it is also beautiful to sit in the garden and watch the stars! The point is that the sanitary details are in place~ The bedding is very new, and the floor of the bathroom is actually warm. In winter, it is extremely comfortable.
If you have the opportunity to come to New Zealand again, you will choose their home, thank you!

EEstoniaOn our way to Queenstown, we chose to stop in Dunedin for a day and stayed overnight at the Dunedin Motel and Villas. We were very satisfied! The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful, recommending Dunedin's best attractions and restaurants. We were also accommodated in a newly built villa. The exterior was very attractive, and the interior was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a dishwasher. It was perfect for a family vacation. There are many attractions nearby, and it's only a ten-minute walk to the city's many shops. Highly recommended!

The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax.
One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay.
Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThe location is close to the main street and you can walk to the main attractions, but the city has ups and downs and it can be a bit tiring to walk. The one-bedroom apartment has a living room and a kitchen, which is very convenient with a full set of kitchen utensils and tableware. The University of Otago is very beautiful. If you are interested, you can visit the School of Art. It is so beautiful!
