I definitely do not recommend this hotel. Here’s why: 1. Our room was disgusting. The beds are old and sheets and carpet had a musty smell. The shower head had traces of rust and so we could not use it. The sink had mold. 2. The WiFi is so weak that we had to go to the lobby just to get it. 3. Both breakfast and dinner was simply unappetizing. Everything was bland! And worse of all, the dishes lacked serving utensils. I saw some guests just grabbing the bread and desserts with their bare hands! And the food choices are Kosher (I believe) which I don’t understand as not all tourists are Jewish. I would never stay at this hotel ever again, even if they pay me!

This place needs to be destroyed and rebuilt. It is disgusting. The Youth hostels I stayed in when I was 20 were nicer. Dirty, run down, full of bugs… I could go on all day but what’s the point? You will see the pictures- they should speak for themselves

Internet nonexistent in hotel room. Air conditioner not turned on in late March. (Not till summer). Many Orthodox families there with many children playing in hallways. No scenic place for Sea of Galilee viewing. Many small buildings and fences prohibited access and viewing. Very good food and nice size room.

This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. Absolutely filthy, broken shower doors, No working A/C. Dirty sheets. Mediocre breakfast. There was a mysterious pile of brown goo in front of the filthy couch in our room. Stay away from this one.

First of all the good news. The room was fairly large as was the shower and the bathroom. The decor was tired with a peeling door frame, cracks in the parquet floor and the furniture was IKEA style. The balcony was dirty as was the furniture on it. There was a disgusting smell from the shower draining the water drained slowly indicating a block but no response when we complain about this. The controls of the A/C did not allow a choice of a precise temperature. The food was very plentiful and there was a wide choice. Although rather a plain style of cooking, on the whole the food was tasty. There are large grounds and ample parking. As the hotel caters to the religious sector the swimming pool and the beach are segregated and subject to time restrictions. The pool was shut on Shabbat. One of the beaches was open. The hotel was very very busy and there were not enough places to sit and relax particularly on a very hot Shabbat when it was unpleasant to be outside. My daughter was lodged in a room where the door to the balcony did not shut properly and as a result there were cockroaches. The hotel's response was to give her a spray to kill them but no repair of the faulty door. In summary you will not get anywhere near the level of comfort, decor, sophistication of food that one would receive at a hotel in the UK or in Europe at the same price.
