Travelled with my son for a short Easter ski break. Room 28 twin with balcony. Dressing gown alongside slippers. Buffet breakfast with an assortment of the usual food. Never ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening. My gripes: 1) breakfast stocks very low with over 35 mins left to eat. That said when I asked for bacon, the staff made some for me. Main gripe-Room unbearably hot even with the radiator switched off. Opening the patio doors made very little difference and we struggled to sleep each night.

This is a lovely family run hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are well appointed with comfy beds, efficient radiators and lots of good hot water and a balcony. The breakfast has lots to choose from for all tastes and the restaurant serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. The indoor/outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hamam are a joy to come back to after a day’s skiing. There are lots of restaurants nearby. It is worth organising a pick-up service with a local taxi as there are long queues for the free buses. We had a wonderful holiday and would certainly return.

This is our second stay at Le Petit Dru and we were not disappointed. The hotel has been tastefully updated since our last trip. We are a couple. We stayed in a standard double room for 3 nights with Bed and Breakfast. PROs We hired a car from Geneva. It took just over an hour to reach the hotel. There was plenty of private parking on site. Location is perfect. Just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Morzine and 2 minutes walk from the free bus to the the Prodains Express Cable car. Hotel staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast is great with lot's of choice. Pool and jacuzzi were a warm welcome after a day on the slopes. We had amazing views from our private balcony. The hotel have a designated area to arrange, pick up and drop off ski rentals. It's all very well organized. CONs There are none ! It's a popular hotel so you may struggle to get availability. Book early to avoid disappointment ! We will be back !

Stayed here for 3 nights for a short ski break. Very welcoming staff, nice compact room with a modern feel, good sized in room fridge for drinks and milk, kettle in room. No bath but lovely shower and lots of hot water. Had a great view towards the church and Morzine town centre. from the room and balcony. Plenty of social area within the reception / bar area which was needed as several largish groups seemed to be staying. Pool and Jacuzzi were nice although on one day the jacuzzi was not very warm at all, shame the sauna and steam room are 2 floors down but no big problem. They provide robes, slippers and towels. We paid 18 euros each for breakfast as an extra and there was a reasonable choice but it was worth it as you can revisit the buffet and replenish drinks etc. I loved the French lady at breakfast who told me off for speaking to fast but when I spoke to her in French (which I should have done at the start) she was really nice to me and didn't answer back in English like so many French people do when your French isn't perfect! The bar guys, restaurant staff and reception staff were great too, all very friendly. There are ski lockers but no where to dry ski boots but a great ski hire service as the hire shop comes to the hotel twice a day making getting and returning kit easy. Its a short walk into town, the bus stop to Avoriaz stops very near the hotel. The only issue with the hotel was the steep drive was very icy and needed a bit of attention when trying to walk up it for the bus in ski boots carrying ski etc. The only other thing that troubled me and no fault of the Hotel was SOME of the other residents were rather loud and sweary, (English men) I'm sad to say. This could be heard at times in the restaurant which isn't really on. There were some families with children staying not just moaning middle aged women like me who don't like repeatedly hearing the F word! I would definitely recommend and would go back.

Fantastic hotel, top quality! Bus stop either into town or straight to Prodains ski lift into Avoriaz both right outside hotel. Town is only a 5 or 10 minute walk at most. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room all great, bit odd there on different floors but we figured it out. We stayed in Room 303. Right at the top, in the apex of the roof, made the room feel much larger, fantastic view and close to the lift for boot room and restaurant. Church was outside, but bells didn't affect us, nice for 7:30am wake up. General hotel was always clean. Pool table and football table were in main lounge area with toasty fire always lit in the evening. Breakfast a good selection of breads, cakes, cereals, egg and bacon, yogurts and fruits. We stayed half board as we got a good deal. Each night you get starter main and pudding all included. Good size and great quality food. All staff great, special thanks to Bruno, a very friendly, chatty, attentive member of the restaurant team A plus! Beer a little expensive, but still great. Staff all very friendly, speak many languages well, and the room was cleaned daily. Boot room good for ski lockers etc, a little confusing, your room has a specific locker but we figured that out. You can't set your own code, it uses the room number as code so not very secure but we didn't have any problems Didn't realise there was a small Intersport in the boot room so you could have hired boots, and equipment direct from them as opposed to walking/bus across town All in all, a great stay and we would come back.

An excellent stay for a ski trip to Morzine. Comfortable beds, helpful staff, great pool/jacuzzi areas. Views over Morzine and the mountains from the large balconies. 10 minute walk up to the Pleny lift, some good bars and restaurants within 2 mins. We ate at the hotel restaurant on New Year’s Eve and the food/wine was very good. We would definitely return!

Great hotel - would love to return next year! Family room for me and my two boys aged 9 and 11, plenty of space and storage, bathroom with shower, lovely view over Morzine. Short 10 minute walk into centre. Has a half indoor/outdoor swimming pool and sauna Restaurant - breakfast is fine with lots of choices. Evening meals are excellent. Good bar area with pool table and football table. Ski room available but did not use as left skis and boots at skiset shop near bottom of Pleney ski lift

Wonderful hotel stay for a skiing holiday with my two boys (aged 9 and 11). Big, comfy, double bed for me, with two single beds upstairs in our room for my children. Plenty of storage; hanging rail with shoe storage underneath, plenty of shelves, bathroom with walk-in shower (rain and hand-held). We stayed half board; plenty of choice for breakfast (cereal, croissants/pain au chocolat, cheese, meats, eggs, crepes, pancakes, fruit, juices, hot drinks, etc.), evening meals were lovely in the a la Carte restaurant including small children’s menu. My boys mixed and matched with children’s/adults menu. Heated swimming pool is open 4:00-8:00 and was great for the kids to wind down after being on the slopes. Half of it is indoor and the other half is outdoor - it is warmer than you think though! There is also a small jacuzzi. I would have liked it a little warmer but it was perfectly fine to relax tired legs in. The hotel has a lovely cosy lounge area with a pool table and football table along with a bar area. There is a ski/boot room with lockers in but there are no heated boot racks. We did not use this though as we had hired our skis/boots from SkiSet in town and we were able to leave our equipment at the shop (5 mins from the Pleney ski lift) overnight. All of the staff (waiters, bar staff, reception, cleaners) were friendly and helpful. Always polite, keen to help and give advice when required. You can leave the hotel at the back to walk into Morzine centre (10-12 mins). There is also a bus stop just up the road from the hotel for the free shuttle bus service around Morzine and to Avoriaz. Would definitely return - my children are already asking about next year!

Late arrival- difficult to find parking and back entry of hotel- hotel reception only described the way but did not really assist to find the hidden parking at midnight Rooms were cosy but small- no not take first floor- rather take the Chalet above reception. Breakfast only after 8pm- we had to leave for a Ralley appointment at 7 am- so no breakfast
