Arrived quite late but reception was still open and were quickly registered. Room was warm and able to heat up our prepared meal in the microwave - Good facilities.

Wanted a cheap and cheerful place to sleep while attending Les Etoiles de Pau 5star event. About 5 mins drive from event, good car park at hotel. Very friendly service from the man on the desk who found us 2 extra pillows and another blanket while we were out having dinner. Reasonable restaurant within 500 yards which was a godsend at the end of busy days. Room was small but clean and had a brilliant shower. Free wi fi, big plus. All in all good value for money and an efficient pleasant experience.

We arrived here following a long drive from the UK, after arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a sign advising the reception was closed and to head for the reception at the Campanille hotel, we were met by a very friendly lady who checked us in and gave us details about breakfast. We then walked back to the hotel and on entering the rooms we were nearly knocked out by the smell of tobacco smoke like someone had smoked themselves to within an inch of their lives, we then went to the room my daughters were in and this was even worse, so we headed back to reception to state the rooms were uninhabitable and the lady was apologetic and changed our rooms and we then returned to check these out, only to once again find the rooms smelling like a smokers death room so I returned to reception to be told sorry the management is not here so nothing we could do, so for my health after being in hospital after suffering badly with COVID and my family we had no option but to check out and booked into another hotel which had smoke free rooms. This hotel said we cannot stop people smoking in the rooms and could only apologise and if you do complain cannot offer a refund as no manager at the hotel also I asked the reception about fire safety if this is happening and got a shrug of the shoulders very concerning attitude to guest safety. Will be fighting this all the way and will never stay at a premiere classe ever again if this is how guests are treated.

Incredibly uninterested check in by ”dame” at the bar, who was hardly looking at check-in and more murmured than spoke. It was 32° and she refused to store the supplies of our almost unconserved refrigerator in their fridge something in other Campaniles and all other hotels happened in the years. Customer friendship below zero thus. Rooms are very beautiful and modernly renovated. Also the only pluspoint of our stay. No dining restaurant (we knew it in advance) and a wide breakfast. The staff must take an urgent example to their colleagues from Campanile Saumur who prove that it can really be very different, and Campanile Pau will never see us back again despite their superior rooms.

First step in a Kyriad Prestige, which we already knew the mid-range - which has not disappointed us ... Very easy access since A64, free parking. Spacious and well-equipped room, perfect cleanliness - excellent breakfast with a very complete offer and well followed by careful staff ... Cute and efficient reception service. The concept of prestige is therefore a very good choice - we would have preferred a double door in the room to effectively isolate noise from unsatisfactory neighbours. The room staff would be more aware of the importance of not speaking highly in the corridors, especially in the presence of customers.

There is ample car parking space right in front of the hotel which is not far from the motorway. We were made welcome and the all the staff we met were accommodating and helpful. Although our room was smaller than expected it was clean and attractive and to compensate for size had a large TV screen. There was no writing table, but the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and bright. It is a peaceful location. There is an attractive swimming pool, but we did not use it. Dinner in the restaurant was extremely good, the food excellent and we enjoyed our stay. Dogs were allowed in the restaurant which might not please everyone. The hotel is well placed to visit Pau which is only ten minutes away by car.
