Tangalooma Island Resort Reviews

Fabulous location on the island. Our apartment had a spectacular view of the beach and pool. The sunsets were a sight to behold from our balcony. The room was very clean on arrival. No room service available with our package so we only had two shower towels between three people for the 3 night stay. This was not adequate. The room had central heating which was very effective when required. We asked for extra blankets and they were delivered almost immediately after calling reception. The public areas and amenities were spotlessly clean . The resort had excellent water sports and leisure activities available to book. The food outlets were somewhat limited for the size of the resort in my opinion. On the day the cruise ship passengers were visiting the resort the food in the fast food breakfast and snack outlet was in very short supply due to the large volume of extra guests . Excellent live music on the day of the cruise ship arrival . This would have been welcomed on other days during our visit. Everyone was enjoying the music and atmosphere. I would recommend the Tangalooma Island Resort and will definitely be returning.

The hotel is very clean, with all the necessary facilities provided. One of the best parts is being able to watch the sunset directly from the hotel. ☀️🌅

Was a great location and amazing view from our room. Many activities and was convenient to have bbq just near our block. Many bbq areas all around the resort. We had a good time and loved the dolphin feeding experience!

The boat ride to the island is quite long, so if you're prone to seasickness, it's a good idea to stay overnight. The island's environment is pretty good, but due to the weather, the beach and sea weren't as stunning as I'd hoped. There are quite a few activities available, so it's reasonably fun. However, the signs around the island are very unclear, and there's no shuttle service, which makes walking around a bit tiring. On the bright side, feeding the dolphins was a unique and worthwhile experience.

Cleaner than I expected, and I didn't see any bugs other than mosquitoes. I recommend it! Also, the staff are very friendly.

Needs updating. Didn't even have complimentary WiFi and no internet for the TV. Poor facilities. Not enough restaurants. Poor food quality and overpriced. Staff lack empathy and skills for their jobs.

The pictures online don't match the actual room. I recommend using real photos.

Perfect location for wild life encounters and beach access. Better bring own snacks / drinks as the shop closes at 5 pm and selections are limited, whereas cafe / restaurants remain open later some food items run out very fast.

There was a cockroach crawling up the wall. Also purchasing alcohol to takeaway was a bit extreme in pricing

There are limited staff here and always queuing.  For the ATV Bike tour, the arrangement is very bad and all people need to follow one line and drive very slowly and very boring.  The store and restaurants are closed very early and very very expensive for everything. The dolphins feeding is too many people waiting and only meet dolphins for 10 seconds.

Great resort, we enjoyed our stay there.
